Bible Verses About Strength- 25 Encouraging Scripture Quotes

by Josh Wiley on April 1, 2011 · Print Print · Email Email

Bible Verses about strength must start and end with God. It is the power and strength that comes from God that carries us on. As Christians we need to surrender to the strength that God provides and His strength is made perfect in our weakness. As you read through these scripture quotes about strength be encouraged in that it  is not your strength that is needed but the strength that God willingly supplies. Feel free to use this study for a devotional, topical Bible study or Sunday School lesson.

All Strength Comes From God

It is so refreshing to know that we can rest in the strength and comfort that God will provide when facing troubles of many kinds. Let Him have the glory and show himself strong. Listen to this Bible verse: 2Chronicles 16:9 For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him. In this you have done foolishly; therefore from now on you shall have wars.” God wants to show Himself strong on your behalf. Surrender to Him today and let the peace that He gives you take over. We cannot fully serve God without full surrender to his Strength.

Bible Verses About StrengthStrength Comes From God Bible Verses

Isaiah 40:28-31  Have you not known? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God,   the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the faint,   and to him who has no might he increases strength. Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted; but they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength;   they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary;   they shall walk and not faint.

Isaiah 41:10  fear not, for I am with you;  be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you,  I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

1 Chronicles 16:11  Seek the LORD and his strength;  seek his presence continually!

Exodus 15:2 The LORD is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation; this is my God, and I will praise him, my father’s God, and I will exalt him.

Philippians 4:13  I can do all things through him who strengthens me.

Psalm 18:32-34  the God who equipped me with strength and made my way blameless. He made my feet like the feet of a deer  and set me secure on the heights. He trains my hands for war, so that my arms can bend a bow of bronze.

1 Corinthians 10:13  No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.

Psalm 119:23  Even though princes sit plotting against me, your servant will meditate on your statutes.

Examples of Showing Strength in the Bible

The following Bible verses on being strong show us biblical examples of strength and the faith it takes to trust in God so completely that He is your strength. Imagine how much faith it took for Abraham to be willing to sacrifice his long awaited son Isaac.

  • David

1 Samuel 30:6  And David was greatly distressed, for the people spoke of stoning him, because all the people were bitter in soul, each for his sons and daughters. But David strengthened himself in the LORD his God.

  • Paul

2 Timothy 4:17  But the Lord stood by me and strengthened me, so that through me the message might be fully proclaimed and all the Gentiles might hear it. So I was rescued from the lion’s mouth.

  • Peter

1 Peter 4:11  whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

  • Joshua

Joshua 1:9-11  Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.”And Joshua commanded the officers of the people, “Pass through the midst of the camp and command the people, ‘Prepare your provisions, for within three days you are to pass over this Jordan to go in to take possession of the land that the LORD your God is giving you to possess.'”

  • Abraham

Genesis 22:1-3  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, “Abraham!” And he said, “Here am I.” He said, “Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you.” So Abraham rose early in the morning, saddled his donkey, and took two of his young men with him, and his son Isaac. And he cut the wood for the burnt offering and arose and went to the place of which God had told him.

Bible Verses Showing Strength Comes From Faith Not From Fear

Are you struggling through a situation today and are grasping for answers? How should you respond? Respond with faith and not fear, knowing the promises of God and His mighty hand will hold you through any situation!

Psalm 27:1   The LORD is my light and my salvation;    whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life;  of whom shall I be afraid?

Matthew 17:20  He said to them, “Because of your little faith. For truly, I say to you, if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you.”

Mark 10:52  And Jesus said to him, “Go your way; your faith has made you well.” And immediately he recovered his sight and followed him on the way.

Matthew 21:21  And Jesus answered them,  “Truly, I say to you, if you have faith anddo not doubt, you will not only do what has been done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ it will happen.

Bible Scripture Quotes About Strength as Related to Courage

Jesus has truly overcome the world the day he gave His life for all on the cross. Take peace and be encouraged knowing it is Him who is mighty to save. He will not leave you or forsake you.

Deuteronomy 31:6  Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the LORD your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.”

John 16:33  I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”

Psalm 23:4  Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,   I will fear no evil, for you are with me;   your rod and your staff,    they comfort me.

Strength Bible Verses- Because of the Hope and Love we have In Jesus Christ

Do not lose heart or become discouraged as we have the Hope of Jesus Christ and eternal life to carry us through. Stay in the Bible and pray continually seeking the face of God and He will be with you. I pray these Bible verses fill your heart with hope from the truth of God’s mighty word.

Zephaniah 3:17    The LORD your God is in your midst,   a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness;   he will quiet you by his love;  he will exult over you with loud singing.

2 Corinthians 4:16-18  So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison,  as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.

2 Timothy 1:7  for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.

Job 13:15  Though he slay me, I will hope in him;   yet I will argue my ways to his face.

Romans 5:5 and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.

Christian Quote About Strength

“Those who serve God must serve Him in His own way, and in His strength, or He will never accept their service. That which man doth, unaided by divine strength, God can never own. The mere fruits of the earth He casteth away; He will only reap that corn, the seed of which was sown from heaven, watered by grace, and ripened by the sun of divine love. God will empty out all that thou hast before He will put His own into thee; He will first clean out thy granaries before He will fill them with the finest of the wheat. The river of God is full of water; but not one drop of it flows from earthly springs. God will have no strength used in His battles but the strength which He Himself imparts. Are you mourning over your own weakness? Take courage, for there must be a consciousness of weakness before the Lord will give thee victory. Your emptiness is but the preparation for your being filled, and your casting down is but the making ready for your lifting up.” – Charles Spurgeon

D.L. Moody once said that “If you partner with God, Make your plans big!” I encourage you today to make God your partner. Whatever your burden is that caused you to search for strength, give it up to him now. Do not let another minute go by without completely surrendering your burdens to Him. God wants to be your strength. Surrender to Him in your weakness and let Him show Himself strong. Remember if God brings you to it, He will bring you through it!

It’s 4:33 a.m and I have been on bed since ten, struggling and praying. I feel like I am losing my mind. These verses of scripture really helped me! Please, if you read this comment, say a prayer for Samantha in Tennessee. I feel like I am at the end of my rope and I need God to hold me up. Thanks for the beautiful verses and quotes.

Jack Wellman July 27, 2013 at 9:47 am

Hello Samantha. I will be glad to pray for you and hope that others reading this will join me in praying for Samantha. When we reach the end of our ropes, we often find that God is there waiting for us at the end and has tied a knot in the end of the rope to help catch us. That is my prayer for you Samantha. I wish you could come to our church and we would all pray over you.

Corina January 21, 2014 at 12:49 pm

Your post back from July 2013 requested pray and shared your struggle. I was wondering where God had you now. How have you seen God’s faithfulness in that season or how have you seen his faithfulness if you are still processing? I have been in trial for almost 4 years now and I am always looking for encouragement in how He is bringing others through.
learning to trust in his faithfulness, Corina

I just found this website while searching for scriptures regarding strength. If you are praying folks, please pray for us. Our down syndrome son has leukemia as well as a rare disorder which has attacked his hips. we are 2 years into a four year journey of chemo, sickness and many ups and downs. I am a christian and I am buckling under the stress and fear. I am trusting that this is a site that is Godly. I feel like I live in a battlefield. My sweet husband is struggling and in doing so has become very emotionally unavailable. Thankfully I have a wonderful church family and community. I know we will survive, My spirit is just so tired. Thank you for your prayers

Vonnie October 4, 2013 at 9:12 am

I have been praying for strength but I feel like a beginner learning how to pray. I will be facing prison for things I have done and did not realize how far I had gone and I have asked the Lord Jesus to forgive me and take over my life. I am very depressed and ashamed. I thought about taking my life and I know that is wrong and it would make my kids so sad but I don’t want want them to have to endure my stupidness. I have been praying and I am going to continue to pray for the rest of my life. Please pray for me and my family.

Jack Wellman October 4, 2013 at 7:18 pm

Hello Vonnie. I am so glad you came here and believe it was no accident. I will be glad to pray for you sir as the saints are commanded to pray for one another and I ask others to join with me for Vonnie. Please know that God will forgive us all of our sins when we confess them and then cleanse them all (1 John 1:9). I am so grieved for you and what you are going thru but your faith seems to remain strong and being a father and grandfather, this must really hurt you. I went to prison for drugs and being a thief and went from disaster to pastor and so can you. Perhaps God will use you in prison to share the gospel with those behind bars. You and your family are in my and I pray others prayers. Praying for you and your family in strong name of Jesus, amen.

Dora October 31, 2013 at 2:03 pm

Hey Vonnie,
All the way from Africa it’s me saying i am going to ceaselessly pray for you and your family. God really is just and loving to forgive us of our sins when we trully confess and keep seeking righteousness.
If he can take care of the birds in the sky, he will definitely take care of you and your family, he will give you a great peace that transcends all human understanding and make you happy when you should be sad, laughing when you should he crying..
keep knowing this, hge loves you!
My Pastor says, man is good sometimes but God is good all the time!!

Ronda December 2, 2013 at 9:49 pm

Blessings to all,
Please pray for me. I recently was in a relationship with a Pastor. Things was great. We was having a very spiritual relationship. We was planning marriage. Our relationship was lined up with Gods word. He went out of state for Thanksgiving and he’s been treating me really bad, ignoring me, want return or answer my calls. It’s been 5 years that I was in a relationship before I met him. I prayed for several years for God to blessed me with a men that fears God. I’m so hurt. I don’t know what to do but pray. I’m weak, I can’t eat, I’m confused, I can’t sleep, I’m just miserable. Things was great and he avoided me when he came back. I have not saw or talk to him. This Pastor have his own church and I just don’t think this is the right way for him to be. This is emotionally hurting me. Please pray for me.

Jack Wellman December 2, 2013 at 9:55 pm

Rhonda, I am so very, very sorry. I will pray for you but I believe this is good that this happened BEFORE you got married and not after since then you would be tied to this man for life. If you read Rom 12, 1 Cor 13 and 1 John chapter 3 I think you’ll see that this man may be a false convert and not a believer at all for Jesus said that “You will know them by the love you have for one another.” Conversely, you will know that they are NOT Jesus’ if they have NOT this love for one another. As a pastor myself, I would be ashamed of calling him a minister…unless he is a false one for even Satan has his own ministers. I feel sorry for that church because really, it’s not HIS church but Jesus is the Head of the Church just as I am a pastor FOR Jesus’ church and not my own.

Angie December 12, 2013 at 8:00 am

Andee December 15, 2013 at 9:52 pm

I am in a place right now where I never thought I’d be, getting ready to be without a place to stay. I need a miracle right now, and I truly need to see God’s hand on my situation. I’ve been through so much, and my faith is strong right now, but I have to know exactly God’s will for these situations I’m in and especially to find me a place to stay right now.

Jack Wellman December 15, 2013 at 10:32 pm

Andee…I will be on my face tonight in your behalf before the Mercy Seat of God in Jesus’ name…please, any others, I beg you to join Andee and me in praying for a miraculous intervention in Andee’s behalf so that Jesus’ Mighty and Strong Name will be glorified and God may show Himself strong for those who are in great physical need. Keep in touch Andee, please, and let us know what happens.

Pray for US March 3, 2014 at 2:04 pm

I have starred at this page for a while wanting to post something in reqards to my situation but I am the type that feels like others need prayer more than I do. I am literally at the end of my rope thou. I need someone to talk to and to pray for me. My story is long and complicated so Ill just give you the main reasons that I need prayer in my life. I have been in a very abusive mentally, physically, emotionally relationship. More on his part then mine, I react when he acts. Im just as wrong I know this. I have never in my whole life have felt as low as I do as a woman, a mother and just a person as whole and just plain crazy always second guessing myself and who I am on the inside. The relationship started out ok. Although he was already an alcoholic He was not nearly as bad as he used to be. With that said I had a major surgery which about took my life back in 2012 and to be honest I got addicted to the pills and so did he. I now take them just to be able to get up and work. He is still very controling and likes to use the Bible to make me feel bad. We have a mixed family with no kids together. He tells me not to talk to my 18 year old since she is rebelling due to me being with him. He tells me that in the bible Gods first then him and then me and then the kids. I have no problem with that but he doesnt abid by the parts he should. I already have a hard enough time wih everyday struggles due to numerous events throuhout my life that has happened and I try my hardest to do right but he has a way of bringing the evil out in me. When we are good we are but thats it. He has a dark past and it got better once he found God but I dont know what its going to take to get us to where I know in my mind and in my heart we can be as a couple & a family. I want a normal christian life but I dont know what to do I am so lost right now and I have no one physcially to talk with beause I am not allowed to since he seems to think others will judge him…..Please give me some kind of advise or hope or something..I am begging for help!!!

Jack Wellman March 3, 2014 at 2:31 pm

Thank you for your comment “Pray for US.” You wrote that you “have been in a very abusive mentally, physically, emotionally relationship.

Is this man physically abusing you? Are you do the same physically to him? I know its wrong to verbally and emotionally abuse someone but when it gets physical, this is terribly wrong. What does your 18 year old think about that!?

I am sorry that you married an alcoholic. Did you get marital counseling first? Did you speak with a Christian marriage counselor or pastor first? Do you even have a church home? Have you ever spoken with a pastor since these things have been major issues?

You too sound like you have an addiction since you said “I now take them [pills] just to be able to get up and work.” This is serious stuff my friend. You and your husband both have an addiction and will lead to either jail time or a car accident and drug abuse problems physically. It is no wonder that you18 year old is rebelling.

By his telling you that the bible Gods first, he is not showing this by evidence. Talk is cheap my friend and he is showing zero evidence of a converted heart. Jesus said you will know them by their fruits and neither one of you, to be honest, show me any evidence of a born again person. I fear for you and him and the children in this situation.

You wrote that you “want a normal christian life but I dont know what to do I am so lost right now and I have no one physcially to talk with beause I am not allowed to since he seems to think others will judge him.’ You are not a normal Christian and I fear many will be in for a tragic surprise someday that will be completely terrible (please read Matt 7:21-23). Neither you nor your husband show any evidence or fruit of being saved. If you want some advice, I urge you to speak with your pastor, if you have one. If yuou don’t, this means you are going thru this valley without having Jesus as your Head for He is the Head of the church. That is my advice,..find a church home, visit with the pastor…you and your family are headed to the gates of hell from what you have told me.

Pray for US March 3, 2014 at 2:42 pm

I never said I was a normal Christian, With no disrespect maybe take the time to read what I put and really pray prior to responding. I appreciate your response however; you have no ideal how life is. Have you ever been done a really dark road to where you can relate to anything Im saying? If not you’re right I do need to speak to someone but not one that has never really faced the issues I have faced. I WAS looking for some really good advice that wouldnt make me give up more on myself but…..

Pray for US March 3, 2014 at 2:44 pm

Also just to get things cleared up my 18 has no idea any of the horrible things that have gone on. She has never whitnessed any of it, she just sees me upset alot.

Jack Wellman March 3, 2014 at 3:17 pm

I did read your response and yes, I have been down a very dark road, from a prison as a former drug dealer/abuser and addict and a thief as well as a blasphemer. I know not your exact position but only surmised from your post my friend and I will pray for you and my desire was only to help. I was once homeless, jobless, penniless, never knew my father, was abused by my mother who then abandoned me also…so yes, I have been in a very hard, dark place. I am not giving up on you because God never gave up on me. Please know that I do care. You do need counseling as I did too. I needed a Christian counselor, much prayer, a church home, and God above all things but I found that I could not walk with God by myself and that is what I was trying to tell you my friend…and tried to do so in Christian love but apparently not done so perfectly so I apologize for that. Even as a pastor, I fail too when giving counsel. As it is written, “Open rebuke is better than secret love. Faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful.” Proverbs 27:5,6.

Hi Jack Wellman,

Good day!

Christ left His Holy Spirit for a great reason! Therefore, we as Believers should really rely on His Spirit when offering advice, not our own intellect so much as “atheist” and the science community swears by.

I found your response to “Pray for us” to be text book religious, lacking the Grace of God and the love Jesus teaches us through His Holy Spirit. To offer such “elevated” counseling then mention “hell” towards the end of your advice was a bit unnecessary. At this stage in that person’s life, such “scare” tactics revealed some selfishness on your part, besides it being irrelevant to their present situation.

(Regarding all Christians: to use God’s Word to hit home their point is abusive, dark, and grim.)

As an American, I lived in the Middle East ( three Muslim nations) for twelve years, so I know a lot about “religious” persecution and authority crushing the spirits of man, even oppressive “Christian” dogma of the south.

In all that we do, there must be Grace extended to others when offering “The Church” to the world.

May the Grace of God cover all of your knowledge of God to supply it to your readers in “love.”

Thank you Mr. Kanafani. Did you know that Jesus spoke 3 times as much about hell as He ever did heaven? Why did He do so? To warn those to flee the wrath of God. If we preach grace without judgment, we are not giving the whole counsel of God. God is love and full of mercy and grace but He is certainly more than that. Sinners are storing up wrath against that Day of Judgment and if we fail to speak of judgment then we are not surely preaching the gospel for grace means nothing without first seeing why we need grace. This is the gospel in full measure. I am not alone in doing this. John Wesley 1703 – 1791 “Before I can preach love, mercy, and grace, I must preach sin, Law, and judgment.” George Whitfield 1714 – 1770 “That is the reason we have so many ‘mushroom’ converts, because their stony ground is not plowed up; they have not got a conviction of the Law; they are stony-ground hearers.” A.W. Tozer 1897-1963 “The vague and tenuous hope that God is too kind to punish the ungodly has become a deadly opiate for the consciences of millions.” You must understand that Biblical evangelism is always, without exception, law to the proud and grace to the humble. Never will you see Jesus giving the gospel, the good news, the cross, the grace of our God, to a proud, arrogant, self-righteous person. No, no. With the law he breaks the hard heart and with the gospel he heals the broken heart. It is actually unfaithful and unfair if we do not preach that a person must repent and confess then trust in Christ. To not do this is really “abusive, dark, and grim” as you say I am doing. Yes we must extend grace but only until a person sees that they are sinners and knock down human pride for God resists the proud but gives grace only to the humble (James 4:6).

Hello Shawn. Will pray for you my friend. Please talk to your pastor. Perhaps your church can provide you with some assistance as most churches have such assistance for women in your position with children. I do hope others will join with us in prayer for you Shawn.

MARY LYNN McDavid-Yohn January 24, 2015 at 12:42 am

Hi Pray for us. I know exactly how you feel because my first husband from Sept. 5, 1980 to January 4, 1985 was an alcoholic. He started around me only drinking on the weekends when I first met him in 1979 and he was kind and thoughtful to give me back rubs and cook and clean around my apartment to help me. He would go to church with me and things were quite good. After we got married, I saw a very different man though. He was very bitter, and angry at me for no reason except at the time I had no idea how alcohol effected his moods. He was a schizophrenic person too. We had no children together but then I was his second wife. He had a beautiful, and very smart daughter and I came to truly love and at the last several years she would help me escape to a frend’s apartment one time and we also would read and study the Bible together when her father would be drinking himself to death and listening to music. You see I GREW UP AROUND ALCOHOLISM AND I NEVER ONCE heard my parents yell and never disrespected each other at all. My father was a well-respected man in the United States Air Force (Brig. Gen) and he served at the Pentagon under President John F. Kennedy. He also graduated from West Point in 1939 when he met my mother when she was at the New York Radio City Music Hall as a dancer. I grew up not knowing how bad people could be to each other until I was married at the age of 30. I had polio and I could walk with crutches but I would always tell me husband if you EVER HIT ME I WOULD DIVORCE HIM. I put up with the horrible yelling for about three years and I would GO TO CHURCH AND TALK TO MY PASTOR AND HE WOULD SAY TO COME IN TOGETHER AND TALK TO HIM. HE went to Drug and Alcohol Rehab and I would go to Al-Anon for about 2 years.
They would advise me to go to marriage counseling together at the Mental Health Center and I did. Our counselor was very surprised that I would have ever gotten in that kind of situation (with an alcoholic) since no one in our family was an alcoholic. Being a born-again Christian since 1972 I would not want to be divorced and no one except one cousin was divorced in our family and he was a well-known plastic surgeon in a distant United State. It was not until he hit me and several times would threaten to kill me that I realized that the LORD DOES NOT MAKE ANYONE PUT UP WITH THIS. NO ONE DESERVES THIS LACK OF RESPECT AND TO LOWER YOUR SELF-ESTEEM. BELIEVE ME this lingered on with me for a much longer time even after my divorced him and YES I DID LOVE HIM VERY MUCH. YOU ARE A VERY SPECIAL CHILD OF GOD AND THE LORD HAS A SPECIFIC PLAN TO RENEW YOUR LIFE WITH HIM SO PLEASE START AND DO SO FOR YOUR OWN SANITY SAKE. OK. I PRAY THIS FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY AND SANITY. Contact me through my email and I will talk to you ok. your Christian sister, Mell is my nickname.

I just typed up an entire thing and forgot to drag the player to the saxophone…. so it got deleted.

thanks for your input. I enjoyed those scriptures. However if you’re watching the NFL, you are participating in a media event which is steeped in satanic influences. I can’t understand why any Christian would watch television or any NFL or any sport after seeing the half time shows of the last few years. if you can turn a blind eye to the blatant satanic practices of Bounce Knowles, or Madonna then you still have one foot stuck firmly in this world.

Ask Not, Have Not, I’m sending out a major prayer request for a financial break thru. It’s seems that the harder I work, the further I go back. I am a mother of three, one college, one adult and who lives with me. Yes a single mother working two jobs, going to school just trying to manage all that have been put on her plate. I know that the lord wont put more on you than you can bear. I feel that my cup has runneth over and as much as I try to maintain I’m coming at my breaking point…I know that prayers do work and I seeking yours
thanking you all in advance….one love always

Sometimes we are amazed for the things we have done beyond our usual capacity and knowledge. Mostly those
are performed by people having higher qualifications and
experience above our level.

Do not doubt, it is we who did it; no-one-else but with the help of Almighty God.

That is because of the promise given to us :

Your qualifications, experience, physical size, social status, Financial strength etc. are immaterial before God.

By improving your relationship with God
and strengthening your belief in him
and following his path

you will be further strengthened to perform greater Tasks
Believe GOD
Surrender to him
Respect him
Follow him

Thank you for these wonderful verses. The Word of God is so encouraging and timely. Thank you for your wise comments regarding the verses. They are very beneficial! God used you to communicate to me today.

Joe Skillin September 2, 2014 at 4:11 pm

“Be not afraid” is in the scriptures 120 times. God is loving. He created you with his own hands and breathed into you his own life. Realize, therefore, how magnificent you are, and live up to that magnificence with gratitude to God.

To all you whom Jack Wellman semi-condems, sure — go to church and talk to your pastor. But also meditate on the scriptures and be impressed with the overwhelming love that Go has for YOU.

Jesus took just a few short years of public life before he died on the cross for our sins — yours, mine, Jacks. What was he doing those few years before His crucifixion? Healing the hurting and feeding the crowds. He is a compassionate lover. Believe that, and respond appropriately. His Resurrection proves his sincerity, underscores his love, sanctifies life. He is with you — each of you reading this comment. He said: Do not be afraid… My peace I give to you.

Be at peace.

Thank you for reminding me of God’s promises. I was starved and thirsty and these words have filled me. May God bless you Amen

Thank you for sharing these wonderful and strengthening and most powerful verses in our Holy Scriptures. God is so immensely worthy of all our praise, to only honor Him, glorify Him and worship Him with all of our being. In Jesus precious name. Amen.
