Supreme Court Okays Same-Sex Marriage

by Jack Wellman · Print Print · Email Email

What impact will the Supreme Court’s ruling for Same-Sex Marriage have in churches? What about individual Christians? Will this increase persecution?

The Supreme Court‘s Ruling Changes Everything

The U.S. Supreme Court has paved the way for same-sex marriages to exist in the states in which it is legal to do so. This means that it will now be legal for same-sex couples to marry in these states and the number of states in the U.S. that allow same-sex marriages is growing and may soon be in the majority. This is an ominous sign for Christians and for churches because this ruling will make it much easier for those who feel discriminated against to file hate speech charges or discrimination lawsuits against those who speak against same-sex couples or homosexuality as being sin. This ruling forces the federal government to recognize same-sex marriages in states where it is now and will be legal. It also means that in those states it is illegal to discriminate against same-sex couples for social services, rental or home purchases, wedding ceremonies, and much of what most married couples need on a regular basis. Does this also mean that there is a higher risk of individual Christians and churches, like pastors, being charged with hate speech? It would appear so.

The Growing Threat of Persecution

Marvin Olasky, the editor in chief of one of the most conservative Christian magazines, WORLD, said that churches and individuals might face more discrimination and hate speech charges for not embracing same-sex marriage due to this ruling by the U.S. Supreme Court. This is especially true since the majority of Americans now believe that same-sex couples should be allowed to wed, even though the percentage of population that actually wants to is still in a small minority.

The highest court of all is in heaven and is ruled by the King of kings and Lord of lords. He sets up and tears down kingdoms as He wishes (Jeremiah 18:10).

The highest court of all is in heaven and is ruled by the King of kings and Lord of lords. He sets up and tears down kingdoms as He wishes (Jeremiah 18:10).

Friends of Christ, let me warn you soberly. I have never faced as much scorn, ridicule, rejection, and in some cases, outright hate, since I have in the first half of this year. I can take the first few months of this year and these equal all of the persecution that I have faced in the previous 10 years. I have never seen anything like it before in my lifetime. It’s as if evil fanatics are growing in their dissatisfaction with Christianity and the persistent juggernaut of the Evil One has shaken the heavenly hosts and earthly participants to take dead aim at the Body of Christ. Remember that Satan’s goal is to destroy all of those who stand against evil and proclaim the truth and Jesus did say that we will suffer persecution and if they persecuted Him, even killing Him, how will we not also be persecuted?

In my opinion, if you are suffering persecution for sharing your faith or telling the truth, that is actually a very good sign that you are growing as a Christian. Few things create growth in a Christian than witnessing to the lost. Also, if you’re being persecuted for your belief in Christ, at least you know you’re on the right side. The truth either sets you free or it makes you really mad. Believers, we must stay in the Word, stay connected with each other, stay on our knees and stay humble, love the Lord our God, seek to glorify Christ…and stand firm and never, ever back down from the truth.

Good as Evil and Evil as Good

This Scripture from Isaiah 5:20 never used to make sense to me as a babe in Christ but today, it makes perfect sense in light of the Supreme Court‘s ruling to allow same-sex marriage in some states. Isaiah writes, “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!” For those who may not realize it, the word “woe” is likened to the word “doomed” or “judgment” and is similar in severity to the woes in Revelation and most people who have read the Book of Revelation understand those woes are dreadful indeed. When good is called evil, and evil is called good, we understand why Isaiah said that they “put darkness (evil) for light (good) and light (good) for darkness (evil). The same thing applies to their putting bitter (evil) for sweet (good). I remember in high school that is was actually cool (good) to cheat and if you worked hard, studied, and took notes in class, you were thought to be a nerd (evil). So they called what was wrong, good and what was good, wrong. But today, the scale is much broader.

Be prepared to be persecuted for your faith for all such godly men and women will face this adversity. Let the apostle Peter’s words give you comfort and joy in the face of the coming persecution…and it is coming,

“Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice insofar as you share Christ’s sufferings, that you may also rejoice and be glad when his glory is revealed. If you are insulted for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. But let none of you suffer as a murderer or a thief or an evildoer or as a meddler. Yet if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in that name. For it is time for judgment to begin at the household of God; and if it begins with us, what will be the outcome for those who do not obey the gospel of God? And ‘If the righteous is scarcely saved, what will become of the ungodly and the sinner?’ Therefore let those who suffer according to God’s will entrust their souls to a faithful Creator while doing good” (1 Peter 4:12-19).

The key points are:

  • We shouldn’t be surprised by persecution…I’d be surprised if we never suffered persecution.
  • When, not if, we are persecuted, we are sharing in Christ’s sufferings.
  • When, not if, we are insulted for Christ’s sake, we are blessed. Why? “Because the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon” us! Wow. How good is that?

There may come a day when Christians, like some are now in Canada and other parts of the world, may be arrested for their calling sin, sin. The U.S. Supreme Court has been overruled, even though they haven’t heard about it yet. The highest court of all is in heaven and is ruled by the King of kings and Lord of lords. He sets up and tears down kingdoms as He wishes (Jeremiah 18:10). Peter said that “We must obey God rather than men” (Acts 5:29). That is the King to whom I will obey…no matter the cost. Are you with me?

Hey Jack,

The ruling of the Supreme Courts were not surprising. Striking down the DOMA was merely a means to show acceptance of homosexuals, not equality. I keep hearing many people say this law does not affect them, but they celebrate it as if it does. Its not surprising, but I really like to speculate why people take things like this to heart.

I think the multitudes here, in America in particular, are very empty inside. They have no sense of truth or morals and look to society to tell them what is right, what to think and ultimately how to love. The leaders of society, who have become our politicians and media officials, places where the EVIL ONE really works hard at, are thrilled to completely deceive those searching multitudes on how one shows love. It really is disheartening to see people completely accept lies hidden behind slogans, colorful flags, and court rulings.

However, this multitude does not want the truth, they are too wicked at heart and too drunk and high off slogans, flags, and court rulings to really think about what they are doing. Is this really the true way of life? This type of ruling has been a long time coming. So many factors play into what we are seeing today that it is impossible to name them (not really but this would be a long comment), but the foundation is rooted in selfishness, pride, and evil.

However, it is not too late for repentenance and truth for these individuals. If churches really want to make a difference, they should not get caught up in these rulings. The mistake that many of the supporters make is that they think marriage is somehow about court rulings and equality. Marriage is not about any of those things. Churches and believers alike, should not falter in their stance on what marriage really is. They should present the truth not just in words, but in the way that they live and the way that they are. It truly is God that changes the hearts and minds of people. But we should be pressuring them to seek the truth. Its up to them to seek it.

However, this has been prophesized so I am not really sure how this will turn out. I really feels like we are in the season of His return.

Jack Wellman June 28, 2013 at 11:43 am

Amen Chevelle. This prophecy has come true but in a way, it has always been true of those who are still in darkness. I have been told to gird up my loins for the battle is going to come hard and fast…and sadly, many attacks come from professing Christians. Thank you for your encouragement.

Chevelle June 29, 2013 at 10:25 am

The Bible really is the truth. Alot of professing Christians fear persecution I suspect if they don’t go along with the cultures, and attack other Christians who do not do the same. Praying for them as well to accept the truth. Social constraints like culture can be very hard to break. You always speak the truth! I would really like to hear your story one day Pastor Jack. I am writing everyday in a journal, that I will pass down to my children and I am hoping to let them know all the wonderful people who I have come across.

Messenger June 29, 2013 at 10:31 am

Bless your kids. May they have the greatest mom ever when they grow up to be adults 😉

Chevelle June 29, 2013 at 10:40 am

I love you and will pray for you. I hope you live a long fulfilled life with many blessings and that you spread love and peace, among the people here on earth.

Messenger June 29, 2013 at 10:33 am

Have you found your Jesus?

Messenger June 29, 2013 at 10:51 am

Thanks, I wonder what you write in your journal everyday.. :X

Chevelle June 29, 2013 at 10:58 am

Journals are all about reflection. 🙂 Thats mostly what I write about. If an idea comes to me, I write about that. Why do you wonder, if I may ask?

Jack Wellman June 29, 2013 at 11:59 am

Chevelle…I am truly humbled by your request. Let me say that I was such a depraved man that it took a miracle to see my sin. To me, the greatest miracle of all is that of human conversion. I am not proud at all of my story but here it is in a story that I wrote some time ago at this website called “How I Was Set Free in Prison” at:

Messenger June 29, 2013 at 9:43 am

OMG, you’re in love with Jesus or God! Do you know what they look like? 😉 Show me.

Pamela Rose Williams June 28, 2013 at 9:52 am

I am with you brother. I will obey the King … no matter the cost. Thank you for helping us to look at this very sad decision from a Biblical world view. I say “even so, come Lord Jesus”

Jack Wellman June 28, 2013 at 11:41 am

Thank you Pamela. As you can tell, I am going to be, in fact already have been accused of hating…but if we are to bring sons and daughters into the kingdom, we must speak the truth in love. Thank you my friend.

Geno June 28, 2013 at 12:57 pm

I have not accused you of hating. You’re twisting my words and intentions.

Messenger June 29, 2013 at 9:48 am

Pamela, is your last name Anderson? 😉

Geno June 28, 2013 at 11:30 am

With great respect for you, and, at the risk of appearing contentious, I’d like to address two points you made. First is:

…”It’s as if evil fanatics are growing in their dissatisfaction with Christianity and the persistent juggernaut of the Evil One has shaken the heavenly hosts and earthly participants to take dead aim at the Body of Christ.”…

I think of how the Word says that judgment begins at the house of God… and how it says in Hebrews that God will be shaking the heavens and earth, so that the things which can’t be shaken will remain.

Those verses in Hebrews are directed toward believers.

The second point is, you referenced Isaiah 5:

…“Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!”…

The entire chapter 5 of Isaiah is directed toward the people of God, not the world, not the lost, as verse 24 makes very clear:

…Isaiah 5: 24 Therefore as the fire devours the stubble, and the flame consumes the chaff, so their root shall be as rottenness, and their blossom shall go up as dust: because they have cast away the law of the Lord of hosts, and despised the word of the Holy One of Israel…

When I was a stumbling drunk, years ago, if Christians had come up to me and told me how sinful that behavior was, and how I’d go to hell because of it, and maybe said “Turn or burn”, as many Christians do today, I would have blown them off and been inoculated against the gospel.

If some believers had loved me, and shown genuine care for me, and shared the saving gospel of Jesus, apart from specifically pointing an angry finger at my drunkenness… and if I had seen Jesus in them, as should be the case… it would have made all the difference.

I’m NOT saying we shouldn’t address sin, but there’s a right time, way and place. Because we don’t recognize this, the majority of the gay community believe that Christians HATE them.

How open to the Lord do you think people who feel hated are going to be?

Jack Wellman June 28, 2013 at 11:40 am

I am sorry to offend you Geno. Can you show me where I am writing about hate? I am not going to respond to your email because I am not into debating. BTW, I do not hate anyone.

Geno June 28, 2013 at 12:06 pm

First, you didn’t offend me.

Second, I didn’t say you’re writing about hate or that you, personally, hate… but that the gays, in general, feel hated by Christians

I was trying to make some vitally essential points, in my view, at least, but it doesn’t appear you want to dialogue with me.

I was really hoping we could have a relationship of substance.

Robert June 28, 2013 at 2:02 pm

There are those groups of professing believers that do present an aura of ‘hating the sinner AND hating the sin’, but it shouldn’t be that way. That is not how Jesus approached sinners. However, He also didn’t wink at their sin nor tell them they weren’t sinful. Christians must find the balance in condemning sin while showing the sinner the love of Jesus. As we have seen in the biblical record, a nation (country, group, etc.) in which the majority turns away from God, is ripe for His judgment.
Yours in Christ,

Geno June 28, 2013 at 2:18 pm

You make some good points, and I did say in my reply that I’m not suggesting we shouldn’t address sin.

Consider this, though:

Did Jesus, the apostles or the early believers we see in scripture address social evils in the society like slavery; abortion, temple prostitution, and much other rotten stuff? I don’t see that.

They lived and shared the gospel. They didn’t rant and rave about societal sins or judgment coming on the Roman empire because of them. Maybe I’m missing something. Do you see that happening?

Mostly, what gay people in our day and age see is Christians getting all hot and bothered by their SIN, and they most likely know that the churches are full of sin, too.

If we’d just start living up to our calling, and sharing the gospel, “sinners” would get convicted and turn to God.

Of course, there will be many who get hacked off, too, but Paul said “We are the savor of life, unto life… or of death… one or the other.” I’m paraphrasing, of course.

Let’s just make sure that when they get hacked off at us, it’s not because we’re finger-pointing hypocrites.

Jack Wellman June 28, 2013 at 8:01 pm

Geno, thank you for your comments and concerns. You wrote:

“Did Jesus, the apostles or the early believers we see in scripture address social evils in the society like slavery; abortion, temple prostitution, and much other rotten stuff? I don’t see that.”

Yes, Jesus and Paul both did as well as Peter and even Jude.

Paul: Gal 5:19-21 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.”

Jesus tells all sinners to repent (Matt 4:17) and the woman caught in adultery did Jesus say, “well that’s okay, no problem.” No, He said, “Now go and sin no more.” To say that practicing homosexuals should be allowed to become members of the church is to say that adulterers, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatrours, sorcerers, haterers, contentionious people, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, etc, should also be allowed. Who would allow ongoing murderers or socerers to become members because we don’t want to appear to hate them. Are these not social issues? Is not murder, drunkeness, heresies, adultery, and homosexuality social issues? Yes and Jesus and the apostles did address them.

You said, “They lived and shared the gospel. They didn’t rant and rave about societal sins or judgment coming on the Roman empire because of them. Maybe I’m missing something. Do you see that happening?”

I do see hate among some Christians but we are not responsible for these “some” but for our own selves. We love them as Jesus loved us while we were still His enemies but He has told us to repent (means, turn around, go the other way, stop now!) and confess our sins and trust in Him to forgive us and save us. Did Jesus rant? No, and neither are we but He did say, rather strongly to sinners, “”You snakes! You brood of vipers! How will you escape being condemned to hell?” (Matt 23:33 & others).

“Mostly, what gay people in our day and age see is Christians getting all hot and bothered by their SIN, and they most likely know that the churches are full of sin, too.”

The church is full of sin? What is your source sir. Anyway, we are ALL sinners anyway. Its not a body of believers that are perfect but a hospital for the sick (sinners). Who is getting hot and bothered? Are we not supposed to tell people the truth to spare them their eternal fate? Someone had to tell me. Should I have been allowed to be a member of the Body of Christ if I continued to sell and do drugs? Of course not.

You said, “If we’d just start living up to our calling, and sharing the gospel, “sinners” would get convicted and turn to God.”

Many Christians do share their faith. I try to do so daily, in person, or leave Bible tracts out, go door to door, on the street, etc. Sinners being convicted is not up to us “living up to our calling” but up to God the Holy Spirit to convict them of their sins. It is not our responsiblity to save them….but it is their response to HIS ability but it is our responsibility to tell them. We are not the frozen chosen but called to GO!

You also wrote, “Of course, there will be many who get hacked off, too, but Paul said “We are the savor of life, unto life… or of death… one or the other.” I’m paraphrasing, of course. “Let’s just make sure that when they get hacked off at us, it’s not because we’re finger-pointing hypocrites.”

I agree with you. I am not pointing any fingers. I am sure there are many that do, but I am pointing them to Scriptures. I am only trying to do what Paul instructs us all to do…”I have forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.” (Gal 5:21).

Does this make sense Geno? Where am I wrong here? I would gladly confess I am wrong when I am persuaded by Scripture and Scripture alone not by what people say “Christians” are doing.

Ricky ;-) June 28, 2013 at 9:19 pm

The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit. The person with the Spirit makes judgments about all things, but such a person is not subject to merely human judgments, for,

“Who has known the mind of the Lord
so as to instruct him?”
But we have the mind of Christ.

Pastor Jack keep going…

Robert June 28, 2013 at 2:05 pm

When I first heard the news of this decision I thought to myself, “Our lawmakers have decided that God’s standards are incorrect and have constructed new ones to fit today’s cultural climate.” Do we have this right? Is it within our power to say that God’s laws are wrong simply because we don’t want to abide by them? It doesn’t matter what I or anyone else thinks if we are at odds with what God thinks. Our country, our world, is headed for God’s judgment at an alarming speed and it saddens me that our president is on board with this slide into immorality. (Great article, by the way).
Yours in Christ,

Jack Wellman June 28, 2013 at 7:43 pm

I am so with you brother and thank you so much for your words of encouragement. I agree that it doesn’t matter what others think but what God says, we should agree with. I am also saddened that we are greasing the slope we are presently on as a nation and it will only grow worse, as the end gets nearer. I know you’ve had some trials this month, not to mention you home state and city, OKC. Know that many in our church and we readers and writers have been and will continue to pray for you and again, I thank God for you sir.

Robert, You should change your picture before you speak up. Jesus!

Jack Wellman June 29, 2013 at 11:10 am

Hello Messenger. I have been following your comments. I am not sure why you are telling Robert that he should change his picture. Why is that? I have known Robert for some time now and this man is about a godly of a man that I know and he is such a good and faithful man of God. So my question Messenger, why should Robert change his picture my friend? Thank you for your response in advance and may God richly bless you.

Messenger June 29, 2013 at 11:23 am

Hi Jack,

I think Robert’s comments are as unclear as what his picture suggests about himself.

First of all, how does he know what God’s standards are? Perhaps God changed his mind and the president has heard him and therefore made this decision. It’s probably just not in Robert’s prayers or dreams.

Second of all, what does he mean by sliding into immortality? So he admits that he is human and deserves to be dead according to God’s wish.

Thanks for pressing this out.

Jack Wellman June 29, 2013 at 11:28 am

Thanks Messenger. God has said in His Word, I do not change (Mal 3:6) and that He is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Heb 13:8) and so we must stand firm on what God has commanded in the Bible. The Bible is God speaking to us all.

As for Robert’s saying we are sliding into immorality. Just look at the movies and magazines over the last 100 years. It is obvious to most. And Robert is right and I am with Him. None of us deserve eternal life but that is what the grace and mercy of God is all about. God gives us what we do not deserve (called grace) and does not give us what we really do deserve (called mercy).

Does this make sense my friend?

Jack Wellman June 29, 2013 at 11:29 am

Also,Robert knows what God’s standards are because they are revealed in Scripture. Read Romans 3 to see the depravity of mankind.

Messenger June 29, 2013 at 11:36 am

So Jack, you’re against the court’s ruling?

Jack Wellman June 29, 2013 at 11:47 am

I am against anything that is contrary to the Word of God. I would rather obey God than mankind. We are commanded to obey God over any human. Acts 5:27-29 is the supreme example,

“And when they had brought them, they set them before the council: and the high priest asked them,
Saying, Did not we straitly command you that ye should not teach in this name? and, behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man’s blood upon us. Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.”

“All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men (and women) do nothing.” (Edmund Burke)

Steven June 30, 2013 at 9:33 pm

God does not change His mind about sin.

K June 28, 2013 at 6:15 pm

To have the opportunity to stand for what is good is such a blessing. I will love these people unconditionally and pray that satan takes his grasp off of them for them to see the truth. Thank you for a great article.

Jack Wellman June 28, 2013 at 6:26 pm

Thank you so much “K.” That is exactly what I was trying to get across. Yes, I too pray for those who are in this sin, like I would any sin. I thank God for your encouragement. Let’s join together in prayer, knowing that God wants all to come to saving faith and that none should perish.

Jack and Robert

Good exhortations….some who harass here display their inability to receive what would deliver them but the truth of the Word of GOD received with meekness is able to deliver and save to the uttermost.

Jhn 12:48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

Exd 23:2 Thou shalt not follow a multitude to [do] evil; neither shalt thou speak in a cause to decline after many to wrest [judgment]:

Exd 23:7 Keep thee far from a false matter; and the innocent and righteous slay thou not: for I will not justify the wicked.

Deu 32:4 [He is] the Rock, his work [is] perfect:

for all his ways [are] judgment:

a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right [is] he.

Job 34:12 Yea, surely God will not do wickedly, neither will the Almighty pervert judgment.

Psa 9:16 The LORD is known [by] the judgment [which] he executeth: the wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. Higgaion. Selah.

Psa 37:28 For the LORD loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.

Interesting ….’seed’ being children …how many same sex relationships have ‘seed’ born OF their ‘unions’?
Perhaps this is one of the ways that it is ‘cut off’ when people turn to defy the living God and go their own way …even their fleshly seed is ‘cut off’ as they have no children by their ungodly ‘unions’

Thus to warn them MAY help them avoid this and other consequences that occur simply out of the unnatural way they go against the intended design which a heterosexual marriage union brings forth seed.

In Malachi God points out that the marriage between a man and a woman is for not only companionship and pleasure which is fruit of their godly obedience but also to bring forth a ‘godly seed’ as the children are trained up according to the way that they should go .

Mal 2:15 And did not he make one? Yet had he the residue of the spirit. And wherefore one? That he might seek a godly seed. Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let none deal treacherously against the wife of his youth.

How it is indeed LOVE to speak the truth so that they might recover themselves …be it the sin of whatever kind that scriptures warn the PRACTICE of sin steals , kills and destroys the soul.

2Ti 2:24 And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all [men], apt to teach, patient,

2Ti 2:25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;

2Ti 2:26 And [that] they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.

Note that those who are in the SNARE of the devil are taken captive BY HIM AT HIS WILL.

The Word spoken according to truth enables those who HEAR to be delivered.

IF they receive it .

That whole chapter is wisdom….flee youthful lusts, …

2Ti 2:16 But shun profane [and] vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.

2Ti 2:23 But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes.

Some do not want to hear the Word and their questions and comments reveal as such.

There is a NEED to PREPARE one’s heart to receive the Word of GOD…such as king Rehoboam…

2Ch 12:14 And he did evil, because he prepared not his heart to seek the LORD.

In contrast Ezra…

Ezr 7:10 For Ezra had prepared his heart to seek the law of the LORD, and to DO [it], and to teach in Israel statutes and judgments.

Psa 34:18 The LORD [is] nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.

Psa 51:17 The sacrifices of God [are] a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.

Deu 10:16 Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart, and be no more stiffnecked.

Deu 30:6 And the LORD thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.

Jer 4:4 Circumcise yourselves to the LORD, and take away the foreskins of your heart, ye men of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem: lest my fury come forth like fire, and burn that none can quench [it], because of the evil of your doings.

When a person has a broken heart over their condition of their need for the Savior the SWORD of the spirit which is the Word of GOD …’circumcises’ their heart…it becomes soft, meek and then they will hunger and thirst after righteousness.

Jam 1:21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.

Col 3:2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

Act 5:28 Saying, Did not we straitly command you that ye should not teach in this name? and, behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man’s blood upon us.

Act 5:29 Then Peter and the [other] apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.

In further thought….the purpose of marriage being to glorify God and demonstrate the godly sacrificial love that Christ has for His bride….to ‘raise up godly seed’ is something that noone living in what GOD has condemned as willful practice of sin may be capable of doing.

Same sex couples may raise children but their decision to oppose God’s directive in living in ongoing sinful ways does not raise them up ‘in the way that they should go”

Influences that hinder and oppose godliness will be dealt with sooner or later and fathers in particular are warned not to provoke their children.

Deliberate rebellion is AS the sin of WITCHCRAFT. We are to turn FROM sin and to seek after godliness….with contentment is ‘great gain’ for all .

To persist in ‘poking God in the eye’ by encouraging more sin boldly is to bring upon oneself and any within one’s realm of influence wounds.

Such is the case with a spouse who is engaged in willful disobedience to God in adultery ..OUR WHOLE family and many friends are dealing with the consequences of the ‘head’ of our household’s insistence upon his own ways.

There is nothing more selfish and lacking in contributions to society at large than willful sin and the encouragement of others to follow the same.

It is demonic and of the darkest origins known to mankind.

As a follower of Christ I have engaged with love, kindness and appreciation for the difficulties of sinful choices people I have known and loved have made ….but NO amount of loving tolerance will turn someone from their lusts to follow after the deceit that takes over one’s mind when there is a determination to cast off all godly wisdom in preference for sin.

I did not condemn sin without knowledge of the various challenges my friends were facing …SOME turned to enjoy the freedom from sin as Christ has made available …but those whose lusts have overtaken their mental processes have continued on down into the depths where they have met with many hurtful additional lusts to their harm and destruction.

Observing many who attack Jack and others here for being ‘haters’ and ‘not informed ‘ about the CHOICE to be engaging in homosexuality I can say from personal experience with those who are living in this deception and other deeply captivating sins that they are ignorant and know not the truth …

I have not engaged in homosexuality but have gone with those I have known to become informed ….I have also shared Christ and the Faith without partiality or hatred …opposition to the truth is not something that is held only among those of the homosexual community but by those who do not want ANY authority above the sensation of their own lust to direct their way.

They go deeper into the control of such wickedness they become blind, deaf and hardened against redemption …or as the scriptures say if they hear not Moses they will not believe if one came who was raised from the dead.

May God deliver them from their choice to oppose all that is good and pure as Christ has offered to all who are willing to receive it …and walk in it .

Rom 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

When a follower of the Lord does this there WILL BE persecution by the demons of hell which enjoy keeping their slaves to sin who do not realize it ….

It is NOT “KINDNESS” to do nothing when someone is stepping into the snare of the devil’s making.

For sin to grow in it’s influence and strength there is only the need to say or do nothing in obedience to the Lord .

In a video called ‘Shakey Town’ we see that the growth of strength of homosexuality in San Francisco grew due to the dropping off of sailors which had been discovered on ships to be practicing their ‘life style’ choice.

As the numbers of sailors dropped off at the ports of SF grew there also grew an awareness but little opposition. This grew from awareness to tolerance and then there was a demand for acceptance …and eventually legislation to legitimize this as a ‘lifestyle’

In other communities the militant aspects of this ‘movement’ of the principalities and powers of this world began to organize to create pockets of larger communities in various locations to gain political power and clout.

This has been , as with many kinds of sinful oppositions to truth a slow and relatively ‘patient ‘ process …..when one investigates the way sin INFESTS first individuals and then begins to accumulate and yes, RECRUIT others to ‘taste’ such behaviors …which ‘invitation’ occurs in various ways to those who are NOT involved….the tolerance grows.

Those who choose a sinful lifestyle behavior are prone to seek out micro societies where they do not feel convicted for their sin …they seek out more and more ways to avoid feeling badly for their choice to do sin.

As Roman’s tells us they desire to cloak themselves within a community that does not utilize the judgment which is GOD”S judgment and condemn sin in the flesh.

Rom 1:32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

In personal experience for example my godly husband lost his fear of God and his concern about sin when he immersed himself among those who did not fear God , did not love God , did not revere the marriage covenant and ran to do all kinds of things which tore down his appreciation for godliness, and marriage,

He soon became entrenched in what eventually loosened his morals to the degree that he took up adultery as a ‘sport’ and soon kept a woman for his pleasure while deserting his responsibilities to his wife and children.

Eventually he and this godless woman …a self proclaimed militant feminist had two children which SHE demanded for the purpose of raising the ‘new ‘ population of children in opposition to the children I was raising up to follow the LORD>

This was NOT accidental nor without deliberate focus upon this very purpose.

People who scoff at this idea need to study these various militant forces more seriously.

The idea of ‘recruitment’ is scoffed at by them but I have been EYE WITNESS to both the feminist and the homosexual techniques of recruitment.

There is a need for people to WAKE UP and realize that the Devil takes people captive as they are introduced to sinful life styles and then they become in the grip of his intentions to steal , kill and destroy all that is godly and commanded by GOD for His glory and our good.

The Devil has always sought to legitimize sin by way of NUMBERS and deceit among those who neglect the command to become ‘armed’ with the Word of GOD.

There is nothing passive about Jesus Christ as he dealt with sinful behaviors intent upon the destruction of those who practice it!

Mat 18:7 Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!

Children lacking training according to the Word of God grow up to be rebellious without any regard for correction …they are taken captive by sinful lusts. People who have lived long enough in rebellion and by grace have come to realize the depth of the depravity of sinful lusts obeyed are groaning in sorrow over their foolishness and pride that led them to rebel , reject and torment those who came to offer them redemption.

Perhaps they are the most ardent of spokes men for this issue but those who are slaves to sin often cast ‘stones’ of hateful rhetoric at them to deflect the efforts they make to testify of the depth of darkness that these present day so called ‘freedoms’ truly are.

Job 12

The condition of sinful choices is a fruit of rebellion that deceives and takes away the heart of those who refuse to be counselled and have not been taught the truth and reason to fear the Lord.

They assign to Him anger and wrath which they themselves have brought upon themselves and fill their own cup of wrath with consequences of deliberate and willful choices to oppose all that is good and oppress those who bring good tidings of deliverance.

They love sin more than deliverance and the God who has bought them.

2Th 2:7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth [will let], until he be taken out of the way.

2Th 2:8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

2Th 2:9 [Even him], whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

2Th 2:10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

2Th 2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

2Th 2:12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness

May the light of the truth of the gospel of the Kingdom of God deliver them from the prison of their own desires.

2 Cor 4

Chevelle July 1, 2013 at 3:27 pm

Wow, you are very eloquent and very knowledgeable. I can agree with every line here and concept you introduce here. You are so right in pointing out there recruitment techniques. Much of it actually is done within academia. I just graduated college, and I can say that many students are drawn in by a persona and promise of glory if they support these types of ideas. Many ideas and concepts like MLK’s civil rights are twisted to support something very dark. I am glad that there is beginning to be some knowledge of how they use people and tactics to recruit. But it is all in the people who they look for. They prey on those who are weak and empty inside and are looking to society to “fill them up” so to speak. And trust me, they are happy to do so.

Kris July 1, 2013 at 6:42 pm

Thank you for your response Chevelle.

The environment and the company we keep is advised by God to be aware of it’s effects upon our stand and faith.

Keeping IN the Word and IN Christ is our best encouragement when all others turn away

When I discovered my husband’s adultery I asked him how well his life would have gone along had I apostatized along with him.Living with someone that opposes your Lord is difficult but not impossible. I advise people to really examine any friendships and most importantly any relationship that could lead to marriage in a very intense scrutiny of the character and faith of anyone claiming to follow Jesus Christ. indeed there are many who would like to supplant the Lord’s truth even among those who claim His name. Just as Jesus told us would be the case.

Be a long term ‘fruit’ checker not by appearance but by ‘righteous judgment’ which is found in ‘all scripture .’ according to 2 Tim 3;16

Standing upon the truth is not popular, not easy but it is what we MUST determine to do …and the strength to do so comes from staying faithful and keeping our daily ‘meal’ of the Word despite all else.

Keep on dear friend…darkness cannot overcome the truth despite the way things around us may look.

Jesus told us that HIS kingdom is NOT OF this world …and so we live IN HIM and keep our eyes on Him.

Continue in His word and then you will be HIS disciple indeed….and what better way to live through this world !

Joseph Young July 3, 2013 at 4:22 pm

But exactly where in the Bible does Jesus condemn same sex marriage or even gay people? So you’re not being “persecuted for your belief in Christ” when people accuse you of hate speech in your calling gays evil. The fact is that you, like so many “Christians” before you, are supporting your fear and judgment (based, I think, on lack of understanding) with convenient Old Testament quotes. I seem to recall “Love thy Neighbor” as the central commandment of Christianity, not “Accuse thy Neighbor of evil because s/he wants to marry someone of the same gender.”

Jack Wellman July 3, 2013 at 6:03 pm

Thank you Joseph for your comment. Where in this article is there “hate speech” or where I called gays evil? Can you show me please? To say that Jesus never mentioned that same sex marriage or homosexuality and thus He okays it is to argue from silence. Jesus never condemned beating children or a spouse or pedophilia, or abortion or bank robbery so that must be okay by your reasoning. By the way Jesus IS the Word of God and ALL Scripture is God-breathed…not just Jesus words as it says in 2 tim 3:16-17 “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” Paul was taught directly by Jesus anyway so what Paul teaches is what God approves, including Jesus Who is also God (John 1).

Here are New Testament teachings that are crystal clear:

1 Corinthians 6:9-10 – “Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.”

Romans 1:26-27 – “Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.”

“Now we know that the law is good, if any one uses it lawfully, understanding this, that the law is not laid down for the just but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, immoral persons, sodomites, kidnappers, liars, perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to sound doctrine” (1 Tim. 1:8–10).

I will stop there. How clear is that Joseph? No one here hates homosexuals including the author of this article….we love and pray for them as well as we do for those who are in other sins like drug abuse, thievery, and such. So we should just “love our neighbor” even if they are stealing our homes blind, robbing banks, or selling drugs to children?

LC July 5, 2013 at 6:33 pm

Last year this happened in my country too. Our states Church (DK) is full of antichrists. I believe only 1 or 2 out of 12 bishops voted against this. And when you speak against it, people go at you like vultures… most homosexuals here know what the Bible says about their lifestyle. So far probably below ten same sex couples have got married here.

But thank you Jack for speaking the Truth. It is time to pray for our nations.

Jack Wellman July 6, 2013 at 6:46 pm

Thanks LC. As you can read, there are a great number of people who disagree with this article but they are actually disagreeing with God and not me since I am only quoting the Bible. As for these bishops, they will have to stand before the Judgment Seat of Christ someday. All will have to give an account for everything they have ever done in their lives, including every idle word. I am so thankful that we have the wrath of God removed from us by Christ’s atoning work on Calvary. They don’t but we’re trying to help them be speaking the truth in love. They will face the full fury and wrath of God and it will be non-stop, for all eternity. I am saying this for the reason that we must think of eternity when living in the present. These folks need Jesus so very badly. It will be the worse thing anyone could ever think of some day for them (Rev 20) but just the opposite for us. When we look at things from the perspective of having the end in mind, it changes everything. Pray for their souls. Love them unconditionally. Their future is terrible but we want to help save as many as our Lord God should call.

NL July 6, 2013 at 1:19 pm

So what are they to do? Lead a life of abstinence? Never find love? Become a nun or a monk? I understand homosexuality is a sin, but the way it’s treated is as though it’s the worst possible sin ever. My understanding is that all sin is the same and we ALL sin and continue to do so everyday with the knowledge that we do so everyday.

I have a hard time understanding how America is doing anything wrong? We are not a theocracy. We are not ruled by a sole religion and it is stated in our constitution. And if people have a problem with that, then you can move somewhere else. America was founded on escaping religious persecution and hence why so many people of different religions make up our country and why we can’t govern solely by one religion. Yes, homosexuality goes against YOUR religion but not everyone is a practicing Christian. And because the government is run that way you have to take a holistic approach to everything. YOU see: legalizing sins and making it okay. THEY SEE: a group of people who are being discriminated against because of desires they really can’t control and are being detained rights that are granted to them by the Constiution. Not to mention that homosexuality only affects the person who practices and not the people around you. You won’t know if two gay or lesbian couple gets married unless they tell you, because guess what? It’s none of your business. The bottom line is a large population of American people are being treated as unequal in the eyes of AMERICAN law (nobody said anything about trying to overrule GODs law) and as a country founded on equality, still today we are working on it. Without it, you may not have been able to practice the religion you do today. Funny, being persecuted over something as simple as religion.

As for hate speech, it’s fine to say homosexuality is a sin or preach about what the bible teaches you, but I think the persecution on the churches part is where they say things like we should lock up all the gays and put them in camp with an electric fence. What is this the holocaust all over again? Or when people say homosexuality makes them so sick gays should just die off. Hurtful things like that. There’s a line and those comments go from ur sinning to down right bullying and verbal abuse. And I’m pretty sure gay people realize homosexuality is a sin in most religions, you don’t have to point it out. It’s like telling a black person their black. Yeah, they got the memo dont worry.

Jack Wellman July 6, 2013 at 6:52 pm

Okay, then why shouldn’t we allow brothers and sisters to marry each other? Isn’t that discrimnation since it is against the law to do so? Why can’t men marry young girls? Isn’t it discrimination to do that. I know there are laws against these but who’s to say that the Supreme Court doesn’t allow this someday? Who are you to judge them?

Incidentally, can you show me in this article or any other Christians who commented here that we are full of “hate speech?” You can not put all Christians into the category of saying we want them all put into camps with electric fences. No one is suggesting that. What a sick thing to say. You call this a Holocaust? Wow….where are the gas chambers and prisons? No one is wanting them to go off and “just die.” We pray for all sinners and love them too. You are exagerating much too much.

No one here hates homosexuals including the author of this article….we love and pray for them as well as we do for those who are in other sins like drug abuse, thievery, and such. So we should just “love our neighbor” even if they are stealing our homes blind, robbing banks, or selling drugs to children?

Kris July 6, 2013 at 8:32 pm

Jack your kind words STILL in response to someone who is not knowledgable about the truth of what GOD has set forth, the foundations that our constitution and bill of rights are based upon a biblical faith, the statistics that record the OVERREACHING ‘effects’ of personal sexual choices upon the culture and society not exclusive of homosexual practices but also any and all violations of sexuality which includes fornication, adultery , pedophilia, pornography , prostitution, sex trafficing. SOME would say these have only an impact upon those who are ‘consenting’ to whatever practice…History and statistics prove otherwise.

ONE such I will site that is possibly not considered by the ‘average’ practicing homosexual or those who may be ‘faithful’ for the time being to their spouses or partners is …in that community alone the police and others who deal with homocide cases state that the murder among those in this ‘lifestyle’ choice are prone to infidelity and domestic violence that surpasses that among the hetro commnity and the homocides that are of this community involve more mutilation and more violent methods than others.

The other statistic that comes to mind is that one’s debt to society in terms of ‘pay back’ in taxes which support the entire community in road maintenance , and other tax supported aspects is found to be started among those who are in the work force AFTER the age of thirty. Many of the homosexual community die prior to being among this tax paying bracket due to various diseases that occur due in large part to the variety of practices that encourage growth of bacteria and viruses that come from sexual practices of this distinct ‘choice’ in practices.

Countless lives are damaged and diseased by all forms of sexual sin. This is a growing problem . Younger and younger people are being taught and encouraged to experiment with sexual activities long before they are emotionally or intellectually equipped to do so and that does not even deal with the spiritual truths which are to guide and protect life long loving which godly marriage provides and has proven itself to be the most satisfying of all aspects of our human design for centuries past .

This truth will not ‘hit home’ among those who have been programmed through the system of our present day godless society nor that of the new age post modernists position. The truth is still going to prove itself to be worthy sustainable.

Any society where sexual sin prevailed has been vulnerable to implosion and invasion of various destructive practices in all other aspects of society …Economic, Political, Relational, and Social. Those who deny this are simply uninformed and perhaps do not WANT to seek out these truths.

The Biblical world view is just that …antithesis to the world view of those who know not what it has to offer as what God defines as loving and protective. The serpent started in with the encouragment to Eve to view God’s warning as ‘restrictive’ and that has been the view of natural minded man of GOD ever since.

The sacrifice of Jesus Christ is not valued by those who do not know Him nor have not cared to learn about what God’s word has said in regard to SIN . Jesus Christ EQUIPPED all who trust in Him to ‘deny sin’ …that is to have some CHOICE and CONTROL over the urges of their bodies and minds by way of doing what HE has told us was HIS will.

The accountability that man has for his choices to sin ..even those based upon what he ‘wants’ or ‘feels ‘ is good and desirable apart from the way GOD has told us those things are harmful or good within HIS constucts …such as sex is good within marriage and not as a ‘sport’ or ‘activity ‘ as our world today would like to ‘sell’ it to us by way of our feelings and appetites.

The truth is that if GOD commands man to govern himself it is for man’s GOOD …and fulfillment and satisfaction.

Having had some very close acquaintances in the gay community I have had some intimate conversations with those willing to become transparent about the challenges they have with their choices.

All relationships offer challenges to get along …to give and receive love …and in same sex relationships there is more fear and dissatisfaction from within the relationships that I have had the privilege to observe and that not from the society without so much as from within their own ‘ranks’ if you will.

Blaming society at large for the ways that the homosexual relationships are not fully fulfilling is a lot like people who are married who blame marriage or their spouses for their own lack of willingness to live in marriage as it was meant to be lived in .

Faithful relationships take decisions that are based upon the truth of HOW those relationships are designed to function.

Marriage is a design by the designer and creator of human beings for the purposes and functions that God had in mind.

Heterosexual marriages are failing not because the two who became one flesh are the ‘wrong person’ or even the ‘wrong gender’ but because people do not KNOW what the marriage was created to BE and HOW to live in it as it was designed to be lived IN!

The enemy of human beings is mostly interested in destroying HUMAN BEINGS because we are LOVED BY GOD so much he sent His only BEGOTTEN Son so that we might be reconciled to Himself through the obedience and sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

This may seem a ‘mystery’ to those who have not taken time to heed the command to read …but it is still a loving offer to any and all who can’t seem to figure out why there are so many who oppose sin .

NOT ALL SIN IS THE SAME in how it effects people …and sin does NOT JUST effect those who are DOING it ….CONSEQUENCES of sin effect us all.

Ask any spouse whose beloved spouse has cheated on them …or ask any child who is the victim of sexual trafficking or pedophilia! For that matter as ANY victim of someone else’s sinful choices!

God is love and He is a good Father …As any loving father he does not want any of his children to be victimized by the ENEMY of our souls. The Devil HATES GOD but he cannot overcome HIM …so he goes after the kids! Isn’t this the way to hurt a parent?

God commands us to avoid sin because we CAN …Jesus destroyed the POWER of SIN to control anyone who is willing to obey Him …IN HIM we are NO LONGER SUBJECT TO …the LAW …of SIN …and of DEATH .

WE have a choice and He gives us the power to deny sin.

No one has ‘no control’ over themselves despite what people are now teaching young children to believe. This is NOT something you are ‘born ‘ with.

No wonder people think God is unjust …they believe His command to quit sinning is unfair …but judgment is only JUST because it is based upon what man has been given the opportunity and the information and the power to OBEY ….

The LIE is that GOD does not exist and that if He does that He is mean! or “unjust’ but WHO is telling people this ? Their lustful appetites? The flesh as their lord or will they CHOOSE to change ‘lords’ and take upon themselves the yoke that Jesus Christ offers to be ‘yoked in’ with them and thus guide them into all truth and a life free from bondage to sin!

The eyes and ears of many are blinded and deadened by acting upon lust and sinful things….the diet of the mind and heart MUST be changed in order to even be willing to seek out truth about these things…the Bible is a closed book for those who read without faith and hunger to learn what it may reveal …even things which we may not like at first.

Jack Wellman July 6, 2013 at 9:08 pm

Amen Kris. There is so much wisdom in your heart and I thank God that you have found us and have added so much to this website. True it is that the truth sets you free or it makes you really mad.

kris July 7, 2013 at 12:52 am

Hahaa…..good short form of the whole matter Jack!

We realize the way people who are lost feel about this because at one time the darkness of the world effected our own view of things …at least I know that is my story .

Over time allowing God to show me the ‘beams’ in my own way of thinking about things and the way the world ‘s indoctrination has effected knowledge I have been slowly seeing HIS POINT !

How sad it takes some of us such a long time …it seems the longer I live the more I realize how much I was taught that was not ‘in the Book”!

Yet the mercy of God is so great and passionate for saving our sorry souls ….Arrogance and head knowledge really does inhibit our ability to SEE as God would have us see our surroundings !

Thank you for your having made the truth available to so many from the study you have invested in the word …How much we love to read, see and hear others who have been unafraid to take God at His Word as we have sought out His intended truth in the pages of the Holy Bible.

How gracious He has been to us.

Ecc 5:18 ¶ Behold [that] which I have seen: [it is] good and comely [for one] to eat and to drink, and to enjoy the good of all his labour that he taketh under the sun all the days of his life, which God giveth him: for it [is] his portion.

Ecc 5:19 Every man also to whom God hath given riches and wealth, and hath given him power to eat thereof, and to take his portion, and to rejoice in his labour; this [is] the gift of God.

Ecc 5:20 For he shall not much remember the days of his life; because God answereth [him] in the joy of his heart.

sdonahue October 1, 2013 at 9:50 am

The denominational churches today are in a very sad state. Between having women crawling all over the altar, mostly gay choirs and gospel choirs, pastors having adulterous affairs, where is one to turn? These ‘worship centres’ and ‘fellowships’ do not identify with anything, so one does not even know what they are. These independent churches answer to no-one. Fortunately, there are traditional Anglicans, Lutherans, Presbyterians, and Methodists who have broken away from their corrupt main bodies, and are safe refuges. Also, there are conservative bodies on their own, so God has not left us homeless.

Jack Wellman October 1, 2013 at 10:46 am

Well said my friend. I thank God for those conservative churches who are bucking the trend of secularization and that there are some who remain faithful to the Great Shepherd Who is the Head of the Church.

Neener November 14, 2016 at 5:59 pm

I’m sorry, but I disagree with your article. The separation of church and state is an important part of legislation, thus religious beliefs should not dictate law. So,it does not matter what your religion may be- you must accept the law. Secondly, because religion does not dictate law (as the United States is not a theocracy), it makes perfect sense that discrimination against LGBTQA+ individuals is illegal- it doesn’t matter what your religious beliefs are, you still cannot refuse services to individuals just because of their sexual orientation. Refusing services to somebody based on who they are is reminiscent of the Jim Crow laws, and I certainly hope that the United States will not move backwards in time because of individuals like you.

Jack Wellman June 28, 2013 at 9:33 pm

Thank you so much Ricky. I truly loved your encouragement and I wish I had included your quote in this article for it is spot on sir. Let’s keep witnessing to those who are lost and pray God sends His Holy Spirit to them to convict them of their sins to repent and confess and put their trust in Christ Who desires to save them and wishes none to perish.
