Dear Theresa,
You bring up a great point of being reunited with our loved ones.

God bless,
Crystal

I thought your wording precluded such people as you would be re-united with. Who would you like to meet? implies to me that it’s someone you haven’t met before. Plus, what are the chances all of your loved ones will be there? I think mine are pretty slim. I’m only taking it on faith that I will be there myself…

I want to meet the thief on the cross next to Jesus.

Crystal McDowell January 18, 2014 at 6:59 pm

Good choice Chris!

My list would include (without counting the biblical saints and my relatives and friends): Augustine of Hippo, Thomas Aquinas, Martin Luther, John Calvin, Gilbert K. Chesterton, John Stott and Francis Schaeffer. C. S. Lewis will certainly one of the eight, not primarily because of his outstanding work on fiction but for his deep insight and remarkable clarity on spiritual issues evidenced in his already classic works like Mere Christianity, The Abolition of Man, The Screwtape Letters, Suprised by Joy, A Grief Perceived, etc. From Mendoza, Argentina.

Dear Fernando,

You chose a great list of people. I agree about C.S. Lewis’ writing…he was an awesome writer across the board.

God bless,
Crystal

As an addict to unclean things of which i never love doing on my real nature but in that still striving to keep CHRIST Commandment and Purity(John 14:15),I will definitely love to meet People who were known to be notorious Prostitutes, Arm Robbers ,etc but at the end they found the Grace of CHRIST JESUS and repented and become a workmanship in GOD’S vineyard and died in CHRIST…

Crystal McDowell January 18, 2014 at 7:05 pm

Yes the grace of God knows no limits to reach the hardest of hearts…how many of us fall into your number and experience God’s forgiveness. Thanks for sharing Patrick.

God bless,
Crystal

While there are MANY that I would like to meet in Heaven, the ones I am particularly keen on meeting are Shiprah and Puah from the Old Testament, the thief on the Cross, St. John the Baptist, Mother Mary & St. Joseph from the New Testament. Corrie Ten Boom and Rev. A B Masilamani.

Crystal McDowell January 18, 2014 at 7:07 pm

Dear Ruby,

Your list is very unique. Won’t we have such a time in heaven with the saints of God?!!!

God bless,
Crystal
