Some people may look at the Gospel like a message.
But it is not
The Gospel is a real life person (Jesus)
Accepting it means accepting Jesus

Good point Godlove,
That is a very important thing to keep in mind. God bless you.
Yours in Christ,
Robert

Well written sir. I love that you included the “bad news” for the good news doesn’t seem important unless we place it against the bad news of the wrath of God on sinners. Too often we hear only that “God is love” and “God loves you” but truly, God is angry at the sinner every day and is storing up His wrath against all ungodly men and women (Rom 1) and the attribute of God’s love is overemphasized to the exclusion of His holiness. Great work Robert.

Thank you for the kind words, Jack. What an incredibly important subject…it’s the most important subject actually. Forgiveness, redemption, and the wonderful eternal life that comes with a relationship with Jesus. What could be more important?
Yours in Christ,
Robert

I fully agree with what you say Robert, both you and Jack study the bible. I don`t because I can open a page at random, and then start to read it,but i don`t know what it means. I told a catholic priest this, and he said stick to the New Testament.
One thing about the catholic church they do not concentrate on the bible at all. When you first start school they teach you the Catholic Catechism the easy version until you are 12 years old then you start to learn the much harder version.
The only time you hear about what is said in the bible is when you attend mass on a Sunday for about a hour.
They are far to concerned with teaching you the catholic doctrine. Some are very frighting one says if you miss mass on a Sunday, and get knocked down by a car and die you go straight to Hell.
I must say this about people who study the bible(Excluding the people on this site) I have noticed when somebody comes onto the site who studies the bible has well, and both you Robert, and Jack have had dust up`s with them because of what they say with quotes from the bible, and treat you with contempt. They don`t want to understand what you say,and have a decent debate with you. You have both gave them about 3 times to answer what you have asked them, but they go on and on,and they still don`t answer you. I know Jack has asked a person for an answer about three times. Jack gives them a warning not to go on like this, and still they take no notice. Jesus said love one another has i have loved you. These people don`t seem to get that, and you both are not hostile at against them. I read one about you Robert, and you asked the person to put it simply so you could understand(I could not understand the person has well)and you give them a good greeting at the end. This is how i can tell that the both of you have there interest at heart, but they can`t see that. This proves to me that you are True Christians, and try to help people if you can. Keep the good work up,and God knows this.

I sincerely thank you, Mr. Cotton.
I think Jack and I are cut from the same material, so to speak. For both of us, encouraging others or introducing them to Jesus is much more important than simply winning an argument. When all this is over and we stand before God, He won’t ask us how many arguments we won, He will ask us what we did in His service. I, and Jack I’m sure, want to be found faithful to God and do what He wants us to do.
I am encouraged by your presence here, Mr. Cotton. You show a sincere desire to know God better. That is a big part of the reason for this website’s existence. I want you to know that you can always come here and ask us any questions you have. We will do our best to give you good solid biblical answers. We care about the people to whom we minister. I think it would break our hearts if we were to lead anyone astray or teach them something unbiblical. God bless you, Mr. Cotton.
Yours in Christ,
Robert

How right you are Robert. It was when somebody wrote a post to you,and evan I said I could not understand him.
You asked him to put it simple so you could understand what he was on about.
I thought that this guy was making you frustrated (Has well as me) One thing i have noticed about you Robert is that you go out of your way to try and make people understand, and to me your answers back are always well mannered.
The Holy Spirit lead me to this site about 2 yrs ago now,and it`s down to you Robert,Jack, and Derek you are true christians(I hope I have not missed anybody out) and I have learnt a lot of things about what you say about God,Jesus, and the Holy Spirit in the bible. Which i didn`t have a clue before.
Yes you are dead right about getting to know God better, and He has answered my prayer`s.
I did not last five minutes on the site i was on before God dropped me off hear, because they were trying to out do each other. That to me, wasn`t very Christian like. You are very unique Robert God knows that, just keep doing what you do.
You,Jack, and Derek just seem to fit together like a team. God knows this too Robert.
