Great work my friend again…and as always. I wrote an article recently on gossip and though I received next to no comments on it, this article is so much better. We are revealing what is in our hearts by what we say. You truly exude this work by your words, even though the written word. Well done brother.

I loved both this article and the article on gossip. I agree that gossip is a big problem in Christian society. It really needs to be nipped in the bud, because gossip is very hurtful and never good. Not only are you not showing love for the Christian brother or sister you are gossiping about, but you are pulling in others into your sin by their just listening to you. It creates a network of repetition and listening that grows, and I am sure, makes Satan happy.

Thank you Mrs. Knapp. You are spot on with the truth that we are pulling others into sin and creating a stumbling block for believers in gossiping and receiving gossip too. Great point. Love is withholding gossip and the opposite is true…we are not showing love when we slander others, even if its true, its not our business. Thank you and Robert’s article here is so good too.
