I pray like this whenever I can for my soul mind and body to be cleaned. For people in need. Amen.

I thank you very much for the good explanation, but my question is this, should we no longer use the blood of our LORD JESUS to cleanse ourselves from sin?

Jack Wellman December 23, 2019 at 9:33 pm

Hello Dolly and thank you for your comment. Jesus’ blood continually cleasnes us from all of our sins. We can confess them to God and be cleansed (John 1:9), but there are no Scriptures that tell us to continually use or mention Jesus’ blood for our cleansing.

Good morning.
I just read your article about the use of the blood of Jesus in prayers. I quite agree with you. I have also done similar research in the Bible and I did not see any instance where we are commanded or required to pray using the blood of Jesus. But there are many Churches today who are using the blood of Jesus as a force in prayer and many of them are not willing to change. I don’t really know where and when this practice started?

Thank you very much for this article and I hope to read more articles from you and that we shall get to know each other better.

May the Lord bless you.
