I HAVE THOUGHT A GOOD BIT FROM PERSONAL EXPERIENCE HOW HARD IT WAS TO GO TO THE FRONT OF THE CHURCH WHEN I WAS YOUNG AND ACKNOWLEDGE I HAD ASK CHRIST INTO MY HEART , NOT EMBARRASMENT OF GOD BY NO MEANS BUT JUST BEING BASHFUL AND STUFF , I THINK A PREACHER MAY SHOULD THINK ABOUT THAT , I HEARD A PREACHER SAY HE HAD PEOPLE WHO HAD BEEN SAVED AND YEARS LATER MADE THE DECISION TO BE BAPTIZED , HE SAID HE THOUGHT HE HAD FELLED THEM , IN MY CASE IF THE PREACHER HAD ONLY SAID WOULD YOU LIKE TO MAKE A DECISION TO BE BAPTIZE TOO , I WOULD HAVE SAID YES I THINK , BUT HE DIDN’T SAY IT AND I EITHER FORGOT TO SAY ANYTHING OR THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN ONE MORE REASON I WOULD HAVE HAD TO STAND AND SHAKE HANDS WITH EVERYONE , I TOO THINK IT IS A GOOD PRACTICE FOR A PREACHER TO ASK THE PARENTS TO COME AND STAND WITH THEIR CHILD , OR IF A PARENT ISN’T THERE TO ASK THE SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHER OR THE FRIEND THE CHILD CAME WITH , THERE ARE SO MANY THOUGHTS TO COME TO MIND THAT I THINK SHOULD HAPPEN TO MAKE THIS EXPERIENCE EASIER FOR A CHILD WHO IS OF COURSE YOUNG , MAYBE BASHFUL , MAYBE SCARED . WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ABOUT THIS ??????? TO THE WRITER AND OTHERS WHO ARE READING , DO YOU SEE WHERE I AM COMING FROM ON THIS , THANKS FOR YOUR INPUT . I JUST THINK THIS IS IMPORTANT , IT MAKES A DIFFERENCE FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE , AND AN EVERLASTING LIFE !!!!!!!!!! NICHOLAS

I like that you shared some tips for preparing a sermon such as asking questions. It is recommended that the contents of your sermon can be answered by the 5 W’s such as who, what, where, when, and why. This way, the people or parishioners would be able to relate more and can easily follow the discussion. If I were to provide my own sermon, I would make sure to take this into account. Thanks.

Benefited on the article on expository sermons. Any suggestions on key books on the subject?
