I please guilty to this too often Robert. Its the same as saying that “God, I don’t trust you.” May God forgive me for times such as these. Well done brother.

Like Mr. Wellman, I am very guilty of this at times too.

Thank you for the article.

Thankyou Mr. Jack for this post, you are answer to a prayer sir. recently I worried too much and didn’t allow God to help me. I abandoned him and got deceived by the devil. I went to a non believers site to help me with my worry, and though it helps, it just didn’t feel right because I wasn’t depending on God ( or the trinity). I prayed today and put my life totally back in Gods hands, and it feels just right and home and a unwavering peace. Praise Jesus for not abandoning me even though I am so undeserving. Thankyou mr. Jack again! I pray that everybody with worries will come to God instead of themselves. Also, what is your opinion on anxiety medicines?

I have habital worries. i.e Disorders. My big worry more often is failing God n losing Him. I dont trust myself most of all. i know it’s not by works but I have so much trust issues and low self esteem from child n adult abuse I struggle to trust him completely fully. but i really want to. recently I’ve led myself astray with worries due to depression n now even life worries are adding n taken my mind astray further. im trying to get back but feel so distant from where i was with God. I feel bad guilty wrong n lost. maybe when u feel numb u still got to depend. but it doesn’t feel like a relationship all of a sudden. I feel far away. I can’t even explain it.

Hi Faith,
I’m sorry you’re struggling so much, many people go through just what you are going through, from time to time. Not knowing the details of your situation, I would like to say that I will be praying for you and I’d like to offer these suggestions, if I might. If you do not have a church home, seek one out, find other believers that will walk with you through your time of hardship. Continue to read the Bible (God comforts us through His word and the Holy Spirit), and continue to pray. God is there; however, He is on His time table. Ask Him what He wants you to learn from the struggles you are experiencing. Faith (what a wonderful name), I hope these few suggestions help. Just know that God is all-powerful, all-knowing, and He loves you very much. Trust Him!!!
Yours in Christ,

Thank you so much for your advice. I’ve studied the Bible for many years and it’s good to still seek articles in reference to feeling better through Bible knowledge.
