Thanks Daryl,
I love theology and apologetics, but I have to make sure that I don’t let my Christian walk be only about the theoretical. I must remember, as you have reminded me, to exhibit the characteristics of Jesus, such as compassion, and not merely be concerned with the theological premises and stuff like that. Thanks for this article, brother.
Yours in Christ,
Robert

I totally agree with Robert. This is a heart-check for me sir. I have all to often lived with duplicity but articles like this bring me back to reality to examine myself. Thank you pastor.

There are times when it is extremely difficult to come to those who have deeply hurt you, over and over again… “there’s a real test”…. the words compassion and forgiveness! Heavenly Father said bring all your weaknesses, hurts, pain, and those that have hurt you. Give them to me and let me handle all that is inside your heart! Heavenly Father is the only one who can give the right justice and knows exactly what they need.
Take your Heavenly Father hand and walk with Him and He will show you the humbleness of compassion and forgiveness when you thought you couldn’t

When some one searches for his essential thing, therefore he/she needs to be available that in detail,
thus that thing is maintained over here.

Thank you for your article Brother Daryl. Last night’s sermon at our church was on compassion and coincidentally I had gotten stuck while studying Romans 12:14-21. Bless them which persecute you…Recompense no man evil for evil…Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good. It’s just what Jesus would have us do! In view of the current activity of ISIS and ISIL it seems to me to be impossible! When Jesus responded to Peter in Matthew 18 He said not seven times (and not seventy-seven times) but seventy times seven. Personally, I’m a “three strikes you’re out” kind of guy. I cannot be the passive type! I can not be. Compassion is one thing , defense another. I would like to show love to those people and hope that they will change but that appears hopeless. Romans 12:18 says, If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men. Well, it doesn’t lieth much in me. However it is possible with Christ IN me. With God, all things are possible.
