I notice that all of these people were baptized.
I haven’t been baptized yet, but a church nearby does an event each year, and it’s coming up in a few months. They all get together at a waterpark, play around a bit, and then they gather together and some of them are baptized. I always go, but I haven’t been baptized. I intend to this next time.
I was just wondering, though, do I need to be baptized to be saved?
It just seems interesting the words choices during verses about salvation, and they frequently speak of baptism in water.
Any suggestions? I know you are always full of scripture to recite.

Be baptized is a command to belong to the family of God.

Thank you Mr. Barbosa. Can you show me a Bible verse that says “Being baptized is a command to belong to the family of God?” Jesus said whoever believes in Me, even though he dies, yet shall live again (John 11:25-26). That is being part of the family by being brought to repentance and trusting in Christ.

Jesus did command the disciples to go into the world and preach the gospel. He also commanded that they baptise in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Matt 19:28). Baptism symbolises the death, burial and resurrection to life in Christ. If it wasn’t important, Jesus wouldn’t have been baptised.
Mr Daniel, after you have accepted Jesus as your Lord, the next thing to do is get baptised by water.

Well said Motun. Thank you.

Give me the name of people that show hospitality in the Bible.

Jack Wellman May 22, 2019 at 8:21 am

We just gave you 4 examples. You may have to do a word search for “hospitality” to find others.

Don’t bully they worked very hard for this

Jack Wellman September 15, 2019 at 9:16 pm

Who is being bullied Hinto? Or who is the bully here? Can you explain what you mean by saying, “Don’t bully they worked hard for this?”

The reference in the Jailer section of Acts 16 is correct, but at some point the reference is changed to Acts 19 which needs to be corrected.

Thank you Jason. We have corrected it sir and thank you for pointing that out.
