Hey Josh. Do you have permission to use these?? We called Max’s church and they would not give us permission to add some of his quotes in the bulletin. We are a small small church and I found this odd.

Josh December 30, 2011 at 1:11 pm

Thanks for the comment Cindy. I found these quotes all over the web so I think they are okay to use. That is strange that you were not able to use them on a Church bulletin.

Christof February 7, 2012 at 5:13 pm

Cindy, I’m sure no-one is going to take you to court for using this – its like giving the beggar a bread and expecting money in return.

Dionne September 13, 2012 at 1:27 pm

Max MST (Master Story Teller), your books of quotes are BREATH’S BANK. Where those that think life has almost gone out of them can retrieve from. God bless u Sir. I prayed a new name, new mind, and a spirit for u in Jesus name. From Nigeria.

Hi. I hope you are doing well today. 🙂

I really enjoyed reading your quotes from Max Lucado. I especially liked the inspirational quote: “When grace moves in… guilt moves out” I would like to learn more about what Max was saying when he said this statement. Do know what book that quote is from, and the page number, if possible, so I read more about it?

Thank you for considering my request. Take care, and have a very, blessed day. 🙂

“Forgive and give as if it were your last opportunity. Love like there’s no tomorrow, and if tomorrow comes, love again.”

Does that mean we should forgive strangers also.

My favorite Lucado quote out of “Facing your Giants” … Linger to long in the stinch of your hurt and you’ll soon smell like the toxin you despise.

Barbara June 28, 2013 at 8:18 pm

God has blessed us by giving us Max. He has blessed Max with the gift of painting beautiful insights about God with his words!

One of my favourite quotes of Max Lucado is this,
” A woman’s heart should be so hidden in God that a man has to seek Him ( diligently) just to find her”.

….because I am a mother of a god-fearing daugher and praying for such a man in her life in His time

leela July 15, 2013 at 10:24 am

Thank you Josh for this amazing site that I came across incidently. May God bless you and your family.

Mickie June 1, 2015 at 9:27 am

My favorite quote is, “What if you woke up this morning
and found you had nothing left EXCEPT what you thanked
God for yesterday?”

I was told this was a Max Lucado quote; can you tell me
for sure; I want to use it and give credit where it is due.

thanks, Mickie

Pamela Rose Williams June 1, 2015 at 1:38 pm

Yes Mickie, that is a Max Lucado quote. Really makes you think, doesn’t it?

Dee September 12, 2015 at 6:01 pm

“God’s grace has a drenching about it. A wildness about it. A white-water, riptide, turn-you-upside-downness about it. Grace comes after you. It rewires you. From insecure to God secure. From regret-riddled to better-because-of-it. From afraid-to-die to ready-to-fly. Grace is the voice that calls us to change and gives us the power to pull it off.”
-Max Lucado
