In re question 6: There was 7 pairs of every clean animals (7 male and 7 female) and 1 male and 1 female of every unclean animal.
William, I have read that many times and I am still unsure. If it is 7 males and 7 females of the clean animals, then wouldn’t it be 2 males and 2 females of the unclean? The wording in Genesis 7:2 and 3 is the same for the clean and unclean. So it is either 14 clean (7 pairs) and 4 unclean (2 pairs) or it is 7 total clean and 2 total unclean.
Either way, it was enough to replenish the earth and have food for them to eat.
Good comment.

In Genesis 4:13 Cain says to the Lord,” I will be a homeless wanderer on the earth, and anyone who finds me will kill me.”
Who is “anyone”? Were not the people in the garden the only people alive at that time?
By that time the world had already multiplied beyond Adam, Eve and the two popular sons. But if there is no story behind your existence, the Bible will not mention you. Cain and Abel are mentioned because they have an interesting story behind. Cain is mentioned further for us to understand his life after punishment. Genesis 3:20 says, “And Adam called his wife’s name Eve, because she was the mother of ALL living”, not BOTH , but ALL, meaning more than 2. When Cain went to Nod, he built a city, 2 or 3 people cannot, there were people there already. Genealogy of Adam behaves as if Adam never had Cain or Abel, talks instead of Seth who was a replacement (Genesis 5:3) , why? Because Moses’ focus is arrive at Noah, and he comes from the lineage of Seth.
really educating, i could use this to win a bible quiz competition
I got 19 out of 20; I didn’t get question 20. I’m on my way to the Bible quiz at our regional headquater.

Does God have a name? If so who is talking in Gen 1:26 and to whom?
Thank you John for your question. The Hebrew of “God” in this verse is Elohim which is plural, since there is God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit (Matt 28:19-20). The man name is Yahweh or I AM which is what God told Moses was His name and in Jesus, He is the I AM and HE is God.
How many of Jacob”s own descendants, not including Jacob’s sons” wives came into Egypt?
Ans: 66 – Gen 46:26
Is very interesting and educative
I enjoy doing this sort of Bible Trivia, but was very disappointed with my result, because a few years ago, I compiled a book of Multiple Choice Questions from the book of Genesis and I only got ten (10) correct.
Thank you.
