Psalm 107:28-30 Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress. He made the storm be still, and the waves of the sea were hushed. Then they were glad that the waters were quiet, and he brought them to their desired haven
Ask
Matthew 7:7 “Ask, and it will be given to you seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.

Mark 11:24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
John 14:13-14 Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it
Pray in Faith

James 5:14-16 Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.

I’m so glad I was guided here too, truly and greatfully I am. Today I travelled down a small country road. On the left side near a laneway to a cattle field I saw a poster someone had erected with the face of Jesus, which said ‘I will be your Saviour.’ I visited a house shortly after and noticed, while doing a small task, a picture high over the doorway in the kitchen of the home, of Jesus in the same image as I saw on that empty road. And I thought ‘He will be my Saviour’ even though there were no words imprinted on that image. He is with me, my strength is growing so, so much and I thank you for your part in this, my friend.
There is something going on there Amber….its like Jesus saying that I will never leave you nor forsake you and wherever you go, there will I be. We too are blessed by your coming here. God is sovereign. There are no accidents in God’s plans and purpose.
Psalm 127:3 states, ‘Children too are a gift from the Lord, the fruit of the womb, a reward’
For her I give my greatest thanks.
Goodnight and God bless. More hope, strength and love tomorrow in His wonderful light

I stumbled on this as i was researching on prayer and it was really helpfu. May the Lord bless you and what you are doing.
Prayer is the breath of the soul. Like air to the lungs, prayer is to the soul.
Under the ” Power of Prayer”, You quoted Matt 9:29. The verse is talking about a hard demon to get out. But you left out 1/2 of the most important thing to do when attempting this. Fasting!
Please, when quoting The Word of God, include every jot and tittle.
Yours in Christ’s Love,
Mark
Thank you Mr. Spoon for pointing this out about “fasting” missing from mark 9:29 but the fact is that regarding Mark 9:29 some manuscripts add “and fasting” but not all so most manuscripts do have “and fasting” so most scholars believe that this was added at a later time and not in the original manuscripts which was written by John Mark.
In our church, we had a visitor just a few weeks ago from another state, a couple requested for pray over. They experienced the demon tormenting them. About 15 members in the church decided to stay and rebuke the stubborn spirit. The spirit was conversing and saying that he will not leave the woman for she was his! It took us three hours for binding the demon and loosing the power of God. The next day the couple looked so free from torment and with a joyful hearts praising the Lord! You can visit this in facebook. Our pastor is Thomas Terry from faith alive fellowship. Thank you Lord for the power of prayer works!
It’s nice to know that people are still being delivered in this fashion. There was many demon possessed people in the more earlier years it seems like. And I prayed about why this was happening, and the Lord showed me that many churches and people don’t experience these things because there is no foundation of the word and depth of God’s Word. So congratulations! the Word is strong in your church! There will also be more of this to come, I believe we have a new generation coming out that will stand face to face with these spirits. Until that day comes, lets be get ready!
well mark before you correct someone make sure you know what you are talking about; first he did not quote Matt 9:29, because that verse talks about Jesus healing 2 blind men thru their faith. He quoted Mark 9:29 and you should have known this because your name is mark. Second, the verse is not talking about a hard demon to get out but it is talking about unbelief. Jesus was telling them the only way unbelief will leave is thru prayer and fasting. God Bless
thanks this website really helped good job 😀

Answered prayer is not no, yes, or wait. It
Is something He creates out of nothing,
In His time, in His way, just for you, and then He gives you knowledge of it.

Prayers are powerful, if we have faith as we pray to the Heavenly Father who can do all things as we trust Him with our lifes.

According to John 14:14. Why when we ask for things in Jesus name we don’t receive it.
Because it may not be in the will of God. It must be God’s will for what you pray for. God will not answer a prayer that does not glorify Him.
Thank You for these Verses.

Hello my friend, and yes, I will pray for you, but please call your pastor and tell him and ask your church to pray for you as we are commanded to do (James 5:14) as we need one another (Heb 10:24-25) and seek to do what Jesus commands us to do (Matt 25:34-39) as we do it to Him (Matt 25:40) or we do nothing for Him (Matt 25:41- and that’s not good (Matt 7:21-23). That is not just your purpose…it is all of our purpose if we are Christ’s.

I met the love of my life and hes a Christian….i grew up Catholic and i haven’t been in a church in years. We are in a difficult situation because we currently live apart. He’s always telling me hes praying for us to finally live together and start our life together. I definitely believe in God but i’m not sure him praying will help us….i just wish i had some sort of sign….or someone could tell me that he was sent to me for a reason. I’ve never loved anyone as much as i love him and i don’t know why God would send him to me if there is so much difficulty to actually be happy together in the same state.
have you met with him in person??? If you have met with him, You both will pray together holding hands together sharing one faith together

Prayer is the way of talking to our God.
Are there any Scripture(s) pertaining to the lack of prayer tying God’s hands in your life?
I know the Apostle Peter said that our prayers can be hindered by our relationship with our spouse, and if you don’t ask, you do not recieve, but I cannot find any specific verses to address your questions Mrs. Williams. Thank you for your comment. I am sorry I couldn’t help you more.
Prayer is powerful, it really is.
1-Praying very much you will save yourself
2-Pray a little danger of damnation
3-Not praying at all you are already condemned o hell.
Hello Morris. We are saved by Jesus Christ and not by praying enough and we cannot be lost by praying too little. WHere did you hear this teaching? It is not true. We are not saved by works, including prayer, but by Jesus alone (Acts 4:12; Eph 2:8-9).
Thanks to all, prayers is all we need thanks ones again its powerful
