Iam Ebrahim from India.earlier I joined in a local diocese of our church.I studied long 7 years in the christian seminary and I would like to work as a christian missionary abroad for lifelong.. please guide me in this matter… I never want money or anything…but only my desire is to proclaim Bible…..I never consider missionary work as a carrier for attain anything , but my duty as a christian faithful… is there any opportunity as a missionary for lifelong, please mail me [email protected]

Jack Wellman July 2, 2014 at 1:26 pm

Hello Ebrahim. I would talk to your own pastor about this for there is likely missionary work you can do where you live. Many want to evangelize the lost and go overseas when there are lost people in your own neighborhood, your next door neighbor and in your city or county and country. Please talk to your pastor about how you can do street preaching and one on one witnessing.

I want to work full time missionary in India. Can you guide me any organisation who can support me.

Deborah Pacheco October 7, 2019 at 1:15 pm

Dear Brothers & Sisters in Christ: I write and give away tracts for missionaries. I know that there are many in this world still who are illiterate. However, I hope these tracts that I feel are inspired by God will help reach those who can read. I presently have a tract about salvation that is written in English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Italian, and Japanese. It is free to anyone who wants it. If someone could pay the postage that would help me as my income is not large. If not, I will do my best to send them. I will gladly send samples of these tracts if you want to see them. I just want to help spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ to a lost world who are in need of salvation.

Jack Wellman October 7, 2019 at 2:20 pm

Hello Deborah. We are not in a position to send funds for things like tracts or stamps. We get hundred and hundreds of requests and already support a prison ministry, so we are not in this for profit but to share Christ around the world. If God wants something done, He always provides a way for His will. Feel free to share with us what’s on them.

Walter Cook January 8, 2020 at 1:13 am

Any use for a 55yr old giving his life in Christ Jesus? I really want to move before I get to comfortable with the world I am surrounded by.

Jack Wellman January 8, 2020 at 9:17 am

Hello Mr. Cook. Churches off serving opportunities…volunteering at the homeless shelter, prayer walking for your church, and any other number of things we are told to do by Jesus (Matt 25:35-36) as unto Him (Matt 25:40) but nothing done for Him is troubling (Matt 25:41-46). You can also witness to the lost and pray for the lost and your church.

Join Christian truther group in Facebook, other Christian groups and parable of the Vineyard and just talk to people and try to get into a fellowship. Death is all around us from every side and the devil is as a roaring lion so we must be diligent. We must surround ourselves with like minded true believers but most importantly pray always and in this way pursue a deep connection with our God and also in reading scripture. Prayer is not just praying for others as that type of prayer is exhausting and takes much effort and stamina. It should be done but do not wear yourself out because then you will stop altogether. Just talk to God daily about anything. Build a relationship with him and then pray for others as you see fit. Be careful, our bodies are weak but the spirit is willing!

Do you mean you are seeking missionary work in China, John?

Ann September 13, 2020 at 6:04 pm

I am 51 years old and help lead international zoom calls for Christ internationally. I am getting my passport activated again and praying about where God has me to go next!

Jack Wellman September 13, 2020 at 6:42 pm

Will pray for you Ann.

Having spent 52 years in Africa, I can say a larger percentage of Africans know of Jesus and are willing to hear about him. Than in Europe. Europe has relegated Christ to fairy tale status. Following Christ is not considered PC. Unless you are willing to adapt the Word to suit the times.

Jennifer Garner January 6, 2021 at 9:12 pm

I am 53 and have grown weary volunteering in America. Whether it is food pantries, homeless shelters, reading to kids in schools, all organizations have been taken over by a mindset that (1) touching like hugging those in need should be forbidden, (2) lifting up isn’t necessary (we should provide “freebies” but not Gospel) and (3) God shouldn’t be mentioned. Is there anywhere I might be God’s hands?

Jack Wellman January 6, 2021 at 9:37 pm

I see your very good point that this sounds like the “social gospel” where they’re only making the world a better place to go to hell from, so the gospel should be mentioned, Jesus Christ must be talked about, for we do these things (Matt 25:35-36) for Him (Matt 25:40), but don’t let this get you down. Keep on serving, BUT share Christ. You may be the only real salt and light where you volunteer, and if you don’t share Christ, who will? I do believe there is room for a prison ministry for women…and this is generally a letter writing or pen pal situation.

Jennifer Garner January 6, 2021 at 9:54 pm

Jack, God bless you for replying! God has certainly used you tonight. You honestly have lifted my heart. Prison ministry for women will be something I look into immediately. God bless you, sir.
