Great article Jack. It was very well explained. I especially like the part where you said “If He is not Lord of all, He may not be your Lord at all”. This is a convicting thought but so true.

Jack Wellman June 18, 2012 at 8:49 pm

Thank you so much sir. I too am convicted and am examining myself to see if I am in the faith. I am glad of this convicting however for the Holy Spirit ensures I never get comfortable or complacent about my sin. I appreciate your kinds words my friend.

Has the bible been edited?

Jack Wellman July 12, 2012 at 3:11 pm

Thank you Andrew for your question. There is no evidence by historical, church history, or manuscript’s to support the idea that the Bible has been edited.

Thank u for this advice so that i must not think that i am perfect. I am to know how to be a christian by Jesus christ only and the steps to take. Thanks Pastor

Jack Wellman August 9, 2013 at 8:46 pm

Thank you Rebecca. I can only cast stones at myself but I do also know that God will not let anyone into heaven that is not perfect….this means I am in big trouble but then I turn to 1 John 1:9 and then…here it gets good:

2 Cor 5:21 is a great memory verse, saying “For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.”

See, we DO get perfection and still don’t have to be perfect. Jesus made us righteous in God’s sight. Praise God and thank you Jesus.

I just found your website and enjoy it as well as the comments of other breaders…..I am a Christian and a child of God. I believe that that Jesus is the “Son of God”, I believe that Jesus died on the cross for my sins and the sins of the world and I believe that Jesus Christ rose again on the 3rd day…
