My church for all intent and purposes has closed down. Three years ago when I first went inside, it was standing room only. Three years later, the building was lost due to lack of funds. Our men’s group stopped, which i desperately needed at the time. We started a Friday group which dropped to every other Friday then had some cancellations because to the group leader, NASCAR was more important.
My pastor used to be available when I needed to talk to him but the last two years, he didn’t even return texts. The last time he contacted me one on one was to help clear out the lost church building.
On Father’s Day, he was not available to lead Sunday church at his home. We watched him on TV with Joel Osteen. I got turned off, and did not go back. 4 weeks later and no one has reached out to me. I feel abandoned.

Hello Mr. Brutto. Just tragic. I am so sorry for this sir. How sad that we are not seeking Christ and His righteousness first (Matt 6:33). Maybe this is God’s way of telling you to start your own group in your or another’s own home? These things are not your fault though, and only God can change their heart (Prov 21:1), so pray for them.
