Pam,

Thanks for sharing this wonderful testimony. I loved the part where you thought you were looking for a church but found out you were searching for a Savior. This was inspiring to read today!

Praise God for drawing us to The Word through His Word.

I forgot a certain quote that Jesus said.
It was “Which is easier to say I forgive you your sins or ?
I would very much appreciate Pamela if you could tell me the full quote, and what is meant by it.
I am having a problem about forgiveness. I can say forgive me God,but the doubt has come back about accepting it.
It`s the sin of masturbation which I have done all my life. I asked Derek a couple of days ago,and I felt better, but it only lasted a couple of days. Being an x catholic, and i am 64 yrs old doesn`t help either, because they drum it into you. I just can`t believe God could forgive me for what I am doing.A priest says it`s a habit God knows this, and he said rely on God. The priest bit was when I was in my twenties. Jack also said quite a bit back trust in God,and i can`t remember what else he told me. I am just letting you know I have just stumbled here by chance(God) Thanks

I think you are thinking of when Jesus healed the man that was sick with palsy, He said “For whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and walk” (Matthew 9:5)

Now regarding the other things that you discussed with my brothers Derek and Jack. I am sure they gave you good counsel right from God’s word. Regarding bad habits, which is what all sin is … you must replace it with a good habit. Try reading a Proverb whenever that sinful thing enters your mind. You will never run out of the word of God so this is a good daily or more often thing to do.

Thank you for dropping in again Mr. Cotton, it is always nice to see you.

Has I said I have had this all my life, and yes Jack, and Derek gave me very good counseling on this.
I think you have missed my point it`s when I ask for Gods forgiveness, and for a couple of days after Derek told me about having to forgive his wife pretty constantly. He said rely on God,and something else. I felt good, and I briefly felt that God did forgive me,and more to the point I meant it.
I find it very hard that God can forgive me,and the most important point to be sincere.
Thanks for your words of advice Pamela.

Isn’t God amazing! He takes the broken shattered pieces of our lives and makes a beautiful stained glass window. Wonderful testimony Pam!

Pamela Rose Williams April 15, 2013 at 12:39 pm

AMEN! God writes the best true stories, doesn’t He?

Barbara Tanne April 22, 2013 at 10:32 pm

Amen! So amazing!I am so blessed and touched by your sharing. I use 1 corinthias 12.3 when I am weak and it works for me. Praise God!
Mal. 4.2: But for you who obey me, my saving power will rise on you like the sun brings healing like the sun rays. You will be as free and happy as calves let out of a stall. Praise God and may His Spirit continue to guide and bless you.

I think for many the Exposure discover of Christ happens early and often. It’s the maturing and relationship we tend to find later in life after we actually understand the experience of His (God’s) love for us.
