Thank you so much Abibo. I am very blessed by our Creator to be able to spread His Holy Word through WCWTK. Blessings upon you as well!
In His Name Always,
Derek
Derek, you are such a good writer and teacher and these names are a classic example of do things in HIS strength and not our own. Far too many times I fail at this in that I came, I saw, I failed (as opposed to conquered). I always appreciate your Bible lessons in that we are always learning for you have shown us here the hard work of inspiration and perspiration. I am so thankful to God that He directed you to us and we are so blessed by your teachings my friend and brother for which I thank you and I thank God FOR you.
Thank you so much Jack. I am so thankful that God is giving me opportunities to spread His Good News through this website. God is good always and I am 100% certain that His Holy Word is 100% accurate and true. I, like yourself, definitely fail more then i would like, but that is what makes His grace so precious. God is always there ready to forgive. All praise to the Father! I am thankful for you too Jack. I have learned much from you and I look forward to learning more from you brother. God bless you!
Great article Derek … Phil 4:13 is my life verse, it is posted all over my house. I love how you showed Christ’s strength even through these Old Testament men. Great job.
Thank you Pam. I am a firm believer in this verse, especially after the storm I was just in. Christ was my strength and I have come out of it even stronger with Him. When Christ is our solid foundation, we won’t be shaken. Blessings to you and your family!

1 Corinthians 10:13 and Phil 4:13…
Between these two scriptures, I would think that any situation could be handled. What about those who commit suicide?
Is suicide unbiblical or is it the way out as described in 1 Corinthians 10:13?
Concerning the character of God as described in these two scriptures, are these aspects of him saved only for christians, or are the open for all so unbelievers can eventually come to him also?
Thanks for your time
Hello Ryan,
Thank you for your questions. Suicide is not mentioned in 1 Cor 10:13, unless you are referring to the part which states, “but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape.” This is not referring to suicide at all because that would contradict the commandment, “You shall not murder.” (Ex 20:13) 1 Cor 10:13 is saying that no matter what temptation is upon you, God will provide you a way out of it so that you will not sin. This verse is directed at those who already believe in Christ. Below I have posted a link (an article by our own Jack Wellman) that I am sure will bring you to closure and peace on the issue of suicide. Thank you so much for stopping by WCWTK. God bless you.
