Thank you Pamela,
You are absolutely right, no matter what our political affiliation, or the lack thereof, we need to pray for our leaders, our country, and our world. God bless you.
Yours in Christ,
Robert

Thanks for the the encouragement Robert. This was a great reminder to myself of the honourable thing to do.

This is so true, thank you for posting this we are suppose to pray for our leaders as Daniel did. He didn’t compromise is own belief and relationship with God but found favor with the King.

Amen Susan!

Beautifully done Pam. I am so refreshed to see that we should be praying for our president and now I know how to in a better way. Thank you. I get so many negative emails from Christians about the president that I get the feeling that instead of praying for him they are bashing him and this is very unChristian in my opinion and based upon Scripture we SHOULD pray for him and all the leaders. Thank you sister. Well done.

You are welcome Jack. Praying is the best thing we can do for our President.

Amen! Thanks for your article, Pamela, about praying for President Obama, for all those in authority above us. Been offering prayers that the President and Congress come to a fair decision regarding the “fiscal cliff.” I pray for those Republicans (who I think are being hard-nosed about this.) Above all, God’s Holy Will, not ours, in His Son’s, Jesus, Name. Amen.

I really like the statement
” whether the president knows christ as his saviour or not” we should pray for him. That’s absolutely true for every ruler is ordained by God.

AMEN!

Father, You are the potter and I am the clay. Lord, You know who my dearest friends are. I want them to see Jesus when they see me. Lord, please mold me in such a way that You can use me to be the feet of Jesus to them. Whatever the need is, I want to be there for them, Lord. I want to pray with them and for them. I want to study Your Word with them. I want to sing praises to You with them. I want to listen to them with a compassionate heart when they are hurting. Lord, may I always be willing to push pride off of me and allow You to shape me into someone who lives like Jesus does! I love you, Lord! Amen

It’s a moral responsibility of a Citizen of any Country, particularly for the Christians to pray for the Kings, Presidents or Rulers of their respective countries to grant wisdom and right ditections to rule the people, as even they are in the flesh. They are not supernstural powers. According to Romans 13th chaper, verses 1 to 3 clearly says, all people are subject unto higher powers. For there is no power, but of God;the powers that be are ordained by God. So it’s always better to pray for our Rulers.
