Dr. Jeremiah’s commitment is to teaching the whole Word of God (1). As with many famous preachers, Dr. Jeremiah has also written and published several books. Here is a collection of just 23 inspirational quotes and sayings by David Jeremiah.

Featured David Jeremiah Quote:  “The Buddhist has to find enlightenment through striving and the Hindu must find perfection through reincarnation. The Muslim must make trips to Mecca and the Jew must trust in his works. But in Christianity, the sinner needs only to find Jesus and believe in Him. No other religion in the world offers so much in exchange for faith – for accepting the gift of salvation God offers in Christ. No wonder so many adherents of other religions, once they understand the simplicity of the Christian Gospel, embrace Jesus with open arms.”

Evangelism

The only way the corporate Body of Christ will fulfill the mission Christ has given it is for individual Christians to have a vision for fulfilling that mission personally.

There is a moral and spiritual war for the souls of Americans. And this war must be waged by preaching the Gospel, prayer, and obedience to God’s Word.

You may not be able to predict the time of a tornado, earthquake or the Lord’s return. But you can know for a fact that He is coming back. Work today to share the escape route of God’s grace with others, before the night cometh.

The Lord intends us to be powerful people-mighty in optimism and hopeful of spirit, powerful in evangelistic zeal, potent in influence, sturdy in moral fiber and purity. We can be powerhouses in prayer and preaching.

So while the world is shrinking in many ways, the population is increasing at a faster and faster rate. Each of those 6.6 billion souls alive today are individuals God loves and sent His Son to die for (John 3:16). And it is our responsibility – those of us who know and serve Jesus Christ – to go and tell them.

God’s Word

God’s Word will never fall into disrepair. But here’s what happens when we don’t travel on it: We fall into disrepair!

"When our lives are filled with peace, faith and joy, people will want to know what we have. "

“When our lives are filled with peace, faith and joy, people will want to know what we have. “

The great beauty of the Christian Gospel is that in clear and certain ways, the Gospel of Jesus Christ explains man’s predicament (sin and suffering), God’s remedy (salvation through Christ), and an ultimate and timely solution (the return of Christ to establish peace on earth and introduce the eternal state).

If your mind is filled with the Word of God, then it can’t be filled with impure thoughts.

Prayer

Prayer is the way you defeat the devil, reach the lost, restore a backslider, strengthen the saints, send missionaries out, cure the sick, accomplish the impossible, and know the will of God.

Prayer is the hard-work business of Christianity, and it nets amazing results.

The Bible tells us that whenever we come before God, whatever our purpose or prayer request, we are always to come with a thankful heart.

The Lord is anxious to hear our requests if we will simply ask, seek, and knock in our prayer supplications to Him.

Testimony & Witness for Christ

The only Jesus that unbelievers ever see on this earth is the one reflected in those who already know Him. By mirroring Christ, we should be ready to turn any conversation or meeting with an unbeliever into a divine encounter.

When our lives are filled with peace, faith and joy, people will want to know what we have.

Live as a credible witness. If our actions don’t line up with the message we’re proclaiming, we risk losing our credibility.

God has clearly revealed His will for your character in Scripture: We are to manifest the character of Jesus Christ. Our best checklist for God’s will for our character as a Christian is Galatians 5:22-23. There Paul mentions nine character qualities of the heart: love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. If you would like your next steps to be within God’s will for your life … then pray for these Christ-like qualities.

Jesus has chosen to leave His handprints on the world through our hands.

Incorporate the commands and promises of God into everyday life so they became second nature instead of something to consider at every turn.

Thankfulness

No matter what our circumstance, we can find a reason to be thankful.

It’s possible to be thankful wherever you find yourself.

Will you commit to make today a day of praise and thanksgiving?

Jesus demonstrated perfectly what it means to rejoice always, pray without ceasing, and give thanks in all things.
