You wrote: “She purposed in her heart to never write again, lest it glorified the Lord.” That sounds like she refused to write because she did not want to glorify the Lord!

I think you meant to write: “She purposed in her heart to never write unless it glorified the Lord.”

Hi Steve, well gee, I am so glad you caught that. You knew exactly what I meant to write. I have made a change as you suggested. Great to see you here at WCWTK, stop by anytime. Good catch!

Outstanding list of writers who have written about and therefore glorified God Pam. Thank you. I believe that C.S. Lewis may be my favorite Christian author by far. His apologetic style leaves me in awe of his logic and intelligence. Well done friend…as always.

Looking for the name of the author of a book about dream interperation. Not Perry Stone. I have seen the man on Daystar program. Do you know who it is?
Thank you very much.

Written by a Christian author? This it must be against dream interpretation, as only God can interpret a dream. Is this what you meant?

Ms. Deichmann you are probably referring to John Paul Jackson if you have not already discovered. : ) God bless~

Don’t forget about Karen Kingsbury! BEST Christian author I know!

Pamela, nice list. I share your love for Lewis and Yancey’s work. I wonder if you’ve sampled Frederick Buechner’s writings. He’s very good. I like his non-fiction better than his fiction. Anne Lamott is also very skilled, though she’s a bit non-traditional.

I am looking for a list that compares secular authors to christian authors in that; if you like Stephen King, you’ll love Frank Peretti, etc. (that one is my comparison.)
Thanks,
Theresa

Great idea Theresa. Let’s see if we can write that one.
