Andrae, thank you for taking the time to read and comment on this article. It is a blessing and honor to share the Word of God with our readers around the world.
Superb as usual Pam. I tend to be the male version of Martha…and what I am doing is showing my lack of trust and faith in Jesus. I appreciate this for my own personal struggle. Thank you.
I’ve never read this site before but i just wanted to let you know that my spirit had been uplifted and soothed by your article. I’m still a student at Sam Houston State University and I cannot tell you how much this has meant to me especially with finals fast approaching. It has reminded me that i need to give it all back to the Lord and not fully lean on my own understanding.
Thank you and God bless!!!
Oh Seth, what a blessing it is to hear from you! God is good He is always there for us — lean on Him and you will never have to trust yourself! I pray that you remember all that you have learned and can recall it for final exams. I will remember to pray for you in this. Thank you so much for this list of verses! I was browsing the internet looking for something, a devotional or scripture reference, to nourish me. Every devotion I found felt disjointed, and didn’t seem to make sense… but this was a refreshing stream of life! I wanted to shout, “Hallelujah!” when I read the passage from Ps. 103. Also, I think this particular translation of the scriptures is beautiful, keeping more of the cadence and poetry of the old KJV, but speaking in modern language. I had been missing that with my NIV. Thank you, again!
Hi Stormy, I am so glad that you found what you were looking for in this article. Did you get a chance to listen to that beautiful song in the upper right of this page? Jeremy Camp is a great man of God and his sincerity in this song makes me want to shout “Hallelujah”! I am so encouraged by your comment and so glad you took the time to comment here at WCWTK. Stop by regularly, we post lots of articles like this as well as some life application articles and commentaries.
Hey I just wanted to give a thanks to Pam for this article. I’m a leader of the FCA (fellowship of Christian athletes) at my high school. Lately,I’ve been really stressed, not getting sleep, and just plain not enough time with God. This article really helped me fight back at this low spot I’m in; hopefully it’ll speak to all the other Christians at my school that are feeling the exact same in this time around Finals of our classes.
Hi Josh, Well Praise the Lord that you visited WCWTK! I am so happy that you found what you needed in this simple article. No need to thank me son, it is my pleasure to share the Word of God with our readers. I will pray that God keeps you strong in Him and that your stress is relieved. Did you listen to that song up there at the top of the page by Jeremy Camp? Please do if you did not … it is a good song to have in your heart. My charge to you is that you build upon the foundation which is Jesus Christ daily. Stay in God’s Word DAILY and you will be amazed. Always make time for God first and then other things won’t stress you out so much.
Josh, I am so proud of your leadership in the FCA!
1 Corinthians 3:11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

I am dealing with a very difficult business partner. I am trying to exit this situation. I came upon this website a few week ago. I am here almost daily. I am no longer going to chase the riches of the world as it has not brought me happiness. I have lost myself and my mind and my faith. I am putting my stress and this situation in God’s hands. I pray daily that he wrap me in his blanket of love and comfort. I hope anyone that is reading this will lift me up in their prayers please! I know God will lead me to peace. I am willing to follow and do his will!!
Hello Cynthia, I lift you up in prayer and know that everything that God has for you will be yours! My sister in Christ may you be blessed and keep God first in your life always, I don’t know you but love you with the love of our Father. Stay blessed and let Him lead you.
Carol
This website has been food for my soul. I must say that after the death of my mother my faith may have been a bit off track and I left our house of worship. After trying a few different church homes none of the have felt like ‘home’. I feel after studying and looking up questions here that I can find ‘home’ anyplace God is present. Knowing that my questions have been asked before and that the Lord has answered them so long ago gives me strength to lean on Him once again and start over. Thank you Pam and whatchristianswanttoknow.com!
forbearing one another and forgiving one another.if any man have a quarrel against any, even as christ forgave, so also do ye. colossians 3:13
Thank you so much for your post. I am inspired and will surely take this information and apply it to my life. Everyday stress and also my relationship with my significant other has really put a toll on me but I know my Lord Jesus Christ and my Heavenly Father have something in store for me. So in the mean time I’ve got to keep up my prayers and have faith. Thank you Pam. Much love from me to you.

Hi Pamela – This morning I needed something so very direct from God like he has so many times lovingly done in past years when I have desperately so needed to feel as I might describe his heartbeat so close to mine. (for instance when my firstborn beautiful so gifted 21 year old son was killed while in the army) in 1987 and the passing of my late husband into eternity 1995, my Mum in 2003 and many other mountain valley experiences. I have not been online for awhile as it (facebook) has caused such a lot of words words words of people telling their minds that have been far more negatives than positives but thats what facebook has been designed for that people can share whats on their minds. It has been a blessing Im sensing to come on line this morning and see beautiful choruses sung and then to see your page. I would love to connect to what is on your heart and your experiences that you share. Thanks Pamela and Blessings in Abundance
Thank you so much!! Having a hard time today with all I’m going through. A headache stopped right after I read this. Sometimes I don’t lean on the Lord like I should. But I am learning. Please say a prayer.
Praying now Mr. Stewart.
