Well done pastor. Many of these are evangelistic and good reason to memorize them. Thank you so much sir for all you do.

All great verses, thanks. My favorite is Philippians 2:13: ..for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure.

You are so cool! I don’t suppose I’ve read through
a single thing like that before. So great to find somebody with a few original
thoughts on this subject. Really.. thanks for starting this up.

This web site is one thing that’s needed on the internet, someone with a bit of originality!

Awesome Darryl! I had the incredible privilege of leading on of my daughter’s friends to Christ on last Sunday. I was putting together something for her, but this article will be great for her to read. Thanks! Crystal

Jack Wellman August 4, 2017 at 1:24 pm

Great point Mr. Hoidas. We actually have one that’s written already on our site if you use the Search box. Thank you sir.

What?????No verses on repentance????? I’m appalled and shocked. Without a verse on repentance, this is nothing but cheap, easy deceitful believism. Luke 5:32 “I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”…………People will not get to heaven if they don’t repent for their iniquity.

Before you judge this author too harshly, remember that the Gospel of John presents a great picture of the gospel but the Gospel of John nowhere even mentions repentance Of course we are told to repent and believe, as Jesus said (Mark 1:15) but it is God that grants repentance. Our repenting is not a work of the flesh but of the Spirit. People will not be barred from heaven just because they said they believe in the Lord and didn’t say “I repent” because saved people have already repented of their sins. WE cannot do anything to prevent people from getting into heaven and or being barred from heaven. Salvation is fully an act of God. It is not “cheap, easy decietful believism” my friend. I detect a gall of bitterness in your spirit. Please don’t be so hard on others. ROmans 10:9-13 is the gospel but it never mentions repentance. I pray you repent of your hard hearted and harsh, judgmental words.
