Thank you for such an excellent explanation on this Jack. It is exciting to think about the saints already before us in heaven (Peter, John, Paul, Timothy ect…). I know that we all have indeed fallen short of the glory of God, but I still feel a little smaller than those men. They were either direct disciples of Jesus or wrote books of the Bible. That just goes to show how much God values us all 🙂 It is amazing to me that we will one day be in such a glorious reunion of our fellow brothers and with Christ, our Savior! What a day it will be! God bless you brother!

Thank you Derek. I find it interesting that we can be both sinner and saint but Paul understood this well. I rejoice that I know you, a saint of God, and I know you, being humble would not likely want to call yourself that but I must believe what the Bible says. Indeed, what a glorious day that will be brother.

Great job with this topic, Jack.
I, like you, am glad my brain, and my soul, has been washed.
Yours in Christ,
Robert

Thanks Robert. This washing was made possible only by God for no soap in the world could have washed away my sins…nothing but the blood of Jesus. Thanks brother.

I agree and just to share I had the song “When the saints go marching in” in my head as I read along.

Thanks so much, Pastor Jack, for referring me to this page. I understand now why Christians call themselves and others “saints.”
Liked your reply to Derek Hill about “interesting that we can be both a sinner and a saint.” Perhaps that is why I was confused before whenever you called me a “saint.”
Question: In Daniel 8:25…”The Prince of Princes?” Did Daniel mean Jesus? Or someone else?

Ana Whitlow (January 11, 2013)…Love that song, “When The Saints Go Marching In!” Will be going through my head most of the day now! Hee-Hee! God’s blessings by upon you and your family, Ana!

Always, in Christ, Jesus….Patty
