May God increase your spiritual understanding to teach His word

Nice article. But how can human know this is valid? Maybe it is a trick to make people go suicide and no afterlife for them. There are other theories about God – one of which is that we have pieces of God inside and they need to be connected and we need to stay alive for it to work. Also since when living more or less sin free life requires death? People can still be good people despite being low level sinners. This stuff is confusing, complicated and best of all – NO proof of authority. We humans have no problem following God as long as we know it is not deception from Devil..but if we do not know then our choice can not happen.

Hello Eman. The Bible teaches that none or good (Rom 3:10-12), not even one of us, but a good God has to die for bad people or none of us could make it. The Bible is true. Jesus says all must repent and believe (Mark 1:14-15) or die with the wrath of God on them (John 3:36b)…and that settles it.

Good day

Does God still wants us to bring sacrifices to the altar.I want to please God not men.

Great article. My husband served in a church in city that wasn’t very good. We sent our kids to the public school in said city. We don’t really want to but felt that it was a good thing to do because it would serve as a mission field. It certainly did. A few years later a young preacher came to town to start a whiz bang church. As his family grew he moved them out of the city and lived in a small two. Where his kids would go to school. He also moved his church out of town to our skirts. All the whole saying his church motto was Love On A Mission. Neither he nor his wife were willing to truly make the sacrifices they had to make in order to truly reach the people God sent him to serve.

Isn’t Sacrifice the key component of Satanism?

Jack Wellman December 29, 2019 at 3:32 pm

Hello Mike. I don’t know the key component of satanism, but I believe it is Satan desiring (as he always has) worship from humans and now he has it. Sad to be sure.

Did God only sacrifice Christ on one mission of sin

Jack Wellman February 18, 2020 at 8:54 am

Hello Gilbert. Jesus’ one-time death was a one-time mission for all time and for all people, even if it appears most will reject Him.

Please how many types of sacrifice is in the Bible and what are they stand for

Jack Wellman June 4, 2020 at 9:16 am

Hello friend. All of the sacrificial laws and rituals all pointed to Jesus’ coming work at Calvary someday. There was no natural means for forgiveness. No amount of animal sacrifices would be enough; the blood served as a reminder of the people’s endless guilt, the death that would come to them in the contrast between their own sinful nature and the consuming fire of Holiness.

Israel (now known as the Jews) knew that forgiveness required blood, and that “the wages of sin is death” (Romans 6:23). Mankind, deserving of death, could only be redeemed by the blood of something great enough to cover all humanity, and nothing could be that great but the Divine Himself. When Jesus Christ came, He was the perfect sacrifice, without blemish. As the animals offered had to be pure, He was perfect, without sin. And as death was required, someone had to die. The blood of life had to be poured out on the dead,
