Unfortunately I feel no inspiration from this. Maybe I am taking some of what it says to literal. I was hoping for something empowering but all I feel is being ashamed of being a woman.

Hello Cassie, sorry that you felt this way after, reading the above quotes and even more so the infallible word of God.Would you do this -just re-read the above, but this time if you did not do so before-pray,if you did still pray again, ask the holy spirit to help you understand what you are reading and how it can empower you and make you so proud to be a woman of God that you will testify to us here on line and at your place of worship. For all who see this, please pray for Cassie and Stephanie that in Jesus name, they will be blessed as the word was intended to do and meet their need in Jesus name amen. Please keep in touch,I want to keep praying for you both and any one else like you,God bless, bye for now.

I, too, came here looking for inspiration and was disappointed by many of these quotes!

What does John Macarthur know of a woman’s “greatest avenue of ministry.” I find his and some of the other quotes on this page quite offensive!

Hmmm … I am going to semi agree with Cassie. Not at all what I was expecting :/

I do love this quote though! We ALL (women AND men) need to remember & live this…
We will never be happy until we make God the source of our fulfillment and the answer to our longings. He is the only one who should have power over our souls. ~ Stormie Omartian

& this … though MUCH harder to love this & to live it, it couldn’t be written better …
To submit to anyone less than Christ is difficult in a marriage. Yet it is Christ who commands women to be submissive to their sinful, fallible husbands. In this sense Christ is the silent partner of the marriage. It is hard for a wife to submit when she disagrees with her husband. But when she knows her submission is an act of obedience to Christ and honors Christ, it is much less difficult. ~ R. C. Sproul

I enjoyed Omartians and Sprouls comment … We need to know more about our relationship with Christ ..our place … Responsibilities and how God truly feels about us as women.. There is so much controversy and deception about it that no wonder woman feel degraded and second fiddle to man. There is no difference after Christ came … But women are still called to a purpose in Him .

Woman was created to complete a man, not compete with him. This fallen world and religion degrades women. Jesus raised up women to be free and equal with men. He sees us all equal on an equal playing field. No colour, race or gender. The world and it’s systems and those not living one on one daily by scripture get blinded and abuse. Yes, good church going Christians can be the ugliest of the lot.

thank you very much… I’m a young woman, newly wed and also new mother:).
the above scriptures have reminded me what God wants me to be and that’s all that matters. the world and all its treasures will fade away but the word and the Love of our Heavenly Father will remain with us for eternity.

if we abide in Hi, He will abide in us.

Hello women, love u all , wanted to share something , while the reading the bible , I saw how God cursed women saying – your desire will be for your husband and he wil rule over you . It’s sad but it’s true , women are cursed with this cursed . Coz i have seen women in the world so sucessful , yet fail in a marriage !! They become famous , rich , everything but yet cannot get what they desire from a man . The only way women can be free from this curse is by finding themselves in Christ first , coz thru Christ this curse on us is broken, so women there is power in you to change the family , change the workplace . Women of God should not wanting to compete with the world but we should be the ones bringing to the world what it needs – faith , love , tenderness , purity , the world already has vanity , strong women . Give the world what it lacks , you will feel fulfilled in ur soul rather than running after the world .

I would love to hear more about this, Ruth. (Even though I just read your comment ~2 years later!)

I praise God for modest, virtuous women. Aside from the Lord there is no greater gift to man!

Daughter Of God May 25, 2019 at 8:49 pm

Women: please remember your wholeness and fulfillment, your encouragement comes from God. Not this website, or from any human. God says you are worthy, you are created in His image, you have purpose in His plan! Never allow any man or woman for that matter tell you what or who to be. If you know God, you are daughters of the Most High God. Walk In His Confidence!

Amen. And to men, treat your wife with love and respect; women, treat your husband with love and respect; then all will go better and submit to one another.
