A tough topic and excellent explanation. I like how you explained “who God foreknew He did predestine.” It wasn’t that God made us predestined, it is that He knew beforehand our choices and by knowing that information… He predestined. That opens up the whole can of worms on free will, but I believe the two ideas exist well side by side. God allowing us our choice and simply knowing what that choice is/(will be).

Thank you,

It’s a very powerful message that has taught me what is being chosen by God means with different scriptures from the Bible . Thanks

So i am correct, in saying, I can say, study, pray, churches, beg, plead, stomp my foot…no matter how Sincere I may Feel, God could still send me to hell??! Why bother?? Why does no one else see that as evil??

Whosover may come to Jesus will be saved. We are chosen, but this also means God grants those chosen repentance (Acts 5:31,Acts 11:18,2 Timothy 2:25). If you see this as evil, think about this; God could not have chosen anyone and still be just as we deserve God’s wrath for sinning. You nor do I have any excuse to deny His existence (Psalm 19:1-2; Rom 1:18-22). Why bother? Because you will be saved. I sense you are bitter about this. Have you been saved? I pray you are since you seem to be angry at God and churches and just about everything else too. I pray you repent of this bitterness, or you will not see the kingdom!

I disagree with you as Jesus will NEVER reject those who are sincere with him. You can go to heaven if you study, pray, go to church, beg, plead, stomp your foot but he will look at your heart. If you are at church and look as if you are paying attention, but really you’re thinking about something else, when you stand before God he will confront you with these thoughts. It’s all about the heart. If your heart is heavy with sin, go wash it off in confession. The lord gave confession as an opportunity for salvation.

Hello Anonymous & thank you for your comment. I have never written anywhere in this article that Jesus will never reject those who are sincere with Him. Where did this come from? It was not from me. Only those who repent and believe will be saved, and that means, they genuinely trust in Christ and believe what He says and the Bible says. It is not all about the heart. Jesus said we must repent and believe and identified that as the gospel (Mark 1:15-16). Please study this a bit better because we cannot be saved by works but only by grace through faith in Christ.

Jesus says i am the way the truth and the life. No man cometh to the LORD but by ME!!!Anyone that puts his trust, faith and repents from his sin and ask God to SAVE HIM HE WILL 100% of the time!!!!

This is true sir….but no man can come to the God unless He draws them through Jesus Christ (John 6:44). Read Eph 1. God had an election and the vote was 1 – 0 and only God voted. Dead men cannot choose God (Eph 2:1-5).
