Now I have some questions that are important, I believe.
Why did the Church (Catholic) in 325 AD, at the council of Nicene, changed the day of Worship from the true Shabbat day, (Friday Eve to Suturday Eve) for Sundays? Nowhere in the Scriptures are we told to do so, only G-d can change the days, He gave us certain days FORVER, they even changed the Feast of the L-rd, even at Christ return, we will have to obey the Feast of Tabernacle, (Sukkot). At the beginning of Christianity ALL the new Believers worshipped on the Shabbat, Paul taught on the Shabbat, not until 325 Ad did the Roman Emperor Constantine changed the day of the Shabbat and the days of the Holy Feasts of G-d.” What G-d has ordered let no man put assunder”. Man has replaced G-d order of things. There is no Jewish roots left. What is the church nurrishment? The Emperor Constantine hated the Jews, even the Believing ones, he was anti – Semite, the council ordered the Believing Jews not to Worship on Shabbat, not to celebrate Passover or any of the feasts of the L-rd under the death penalty, now that was merely 300, not even after Y’shua’s (Jesus) death. I don’t understand that mind set! Jesus celebrated the Feasts, He preached on the Shabbat. If we are to emulate Him, shouldn’t we ourselves, do as He did?

Are we saved by the Law? What if we all kept the Sabbath laws today? Are you prepared to stone someone for traveling just about 1 mile which was punishable by death? Are you saying that we can not prepare meals on Saturday the Sabbath because that’s what the Law demands. Are you prepared to keep the whole Law for James says whoever stumbles on one point of the Law breaks all of the Law? Are we saved by the Law or by grace? Jesus is Lord of the Sabbath and yet He and His disciples went thru the fields picking corn and stripped kernels off to eat…this was breaking the Sabbath Law. Do you emulate Him in this? Do you travel more about 1 mile to Sabbath services? Is everyone saved by observing the Sabbath or if they don’t observe it, are they eternally condemned?

Excellent questions and a more than excellent answer. Although observing many of the commandments in the OT could be accomplished, it would require more rules than most, if not all of us, would find almost impossible.

Amen….the Law of the Ten Commandments show us what sin is and the impossibility of keeping them but thankfully, Jesus kept what we could not and took the punishment that we could not bear. Thanks Mrs. Fouts.

Your comment as to Rome changing the sabbath, no Rome did not, the sabbath is still the sabbath friday Eve. to Saturday Eve.

Justin Martyr in his letters is very clear that we Christians always have met on Sunday the Lords Day and Justin lived over 200 yrs before Catholicism comes into existence.

I would assume your into Hebrew name movement or 7th day Adventist so here is Justin’s words learn from the church early fathers your 19th cent error and false understanding of Historical Christianity;

Justin Martyr 150 AD;

*Weekly worship of the Christians*

And we afterwards continually remind each other of these things. And the wealthy among us help the needy; and we always keep together; and for all things wherewith we are supplied, we bless the Maker of all through His Son Jesus Christ, and through the Holy Ghost. And on the day called *Sunday*, all who live in cities or in the country gather together to one place, and the memoirs of the apostles or the writings of the prophets are read, as long as time permits; then, when the reader has ceased, the president verbally instructs, and exhorts to the imitation of these good things.
Then we all rise together and pray, and, as we before said, when our prayer is ended, bread and wine and water are brought, and the president in like manner offers prayers and thanksgivings, according to his ability, and the people assent, saying Amen; and there is a distribution to each, and a participation of that over which thanks have been given, and to those who are absent a portion is sent by the deacons. And they who are well to do, and willing, give what each thinks fit; and what is collected is deposited with the president, who succours the orphans and widows and those who, through sickness or any other cause, are in want, and those who are in bonds and the strangers sojourning among us, and in a word takes care of all who are in need.
*But Sunday is the day on which we all hold our common assembly, because it is the first day on which God, having wrought a change in the darkness and matter, made the world; and Jesus Christ our Saviour on the same day rose from the dead.* For He was crucified on the day before that of Saturn (Saturday); and on the day after that of Saturn, which is the day of the Sun, having appeared to His apostles and disciples, He taught them these things, which we have submitted to you also for your consideration.

Justin is no Roman Catholic and is writing to the Emperor to stop Rome from killing Christians based on false testimony of cannibalism in the early church, your church has a false teaching on sabbath worship and we Christians show allegiance to The Christ not the Law that is why Paul wrote Galatians! Another error is to call the Lords day the Sabbath the Lords Day is not the Sabbath the Scriptures remark that Jesus is Lord of the Sabbath but that is not the same say8ing as the Lords Day which is His Resurrection and also the Day of The Lord which is the future second coming of Christ is also not the same day as the Lords day.
