Hi Pastor Jack, I have a question, if there is life after death, why did Solomon said that “….. dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten.(Ecclesiastes 9:5)” I am just confused. Thanks. Kevin

If you have a study Bible, you can see that much of this book have things that he says from a secular or worldly vantage point, so you must read the entire book in context and read the conclusion. You can’t take one verse and create a belief system out of it. We are not dead and gone…that contradicts Jesus’ teachings that whoever believes in Him, even though he die, will yet live again.
