Capital punishment has always been a harsh ending.

Stoning does still happen Jessica, but not by Christians but other religions. Capital punishment is the strongest deterent to murder there is.

Of course we can question Him! Name a Biblical character who didn’t. Jacob even wrestled with Him!

To stop thinking about the problem just at the point you cease to understand it does not advance faith or understanding.
