Very very good article!!!! As a christian, very early on, I learned that blasepheming the Lord’s NAME was wrong (by using it in ways you mentioned ), but not our ACTIONS. So many people, including christians, use OMG. Thank you very much for this. It reassures me I’m not an old “Fuddy duddy” like I sometimes think when some of my christian friends disagree!

Yes very good article Jack. I agree wholeheartedly when you said about profaning your wife’s name, or the person you love. As a Christian it devastates me to hear other Christians using these phrases. If we profess to love the Lord, then our words are important, and they will be judged.
Blessings brother, David from Prague.

The only way one can blaspheme God is by rejecting the finished work of Christ which is the testimony of the Holy Spirit. However, God is not emotional and as a result there is no name or word you can say to Him that will change His nature. Though as people who have known God we honor Him but whether we do that or not it doesn’t change the fact that He is God!

You must not have read the article or the supporting Scriptures. Sir, or ma’am, I would stick to your own blog and write that we don’t need to repent and that we can’t blaspheme God by the way we live our lives (as the Scriputres in this articel have clearly stated), so since your teaching is unbiblical, and makes it dangerous, I have removed your link and blocked your access. I pray you repent, something you don’t even think you need. You are attacking so many authors and articles that you sit in judgment…a dangerous place to be myfriend. Please repent of this as we’re command to build up one another and not tear down and spread untruths. I never wrote that we can change God’s nature. Please know I am praying for God to open your eyes and pray you stop spreading such false teachings.

You’re kidding, right? Please provide the scriptures to support your statements and that disprove his. The author provided his You can reject them. You can ignore them. But you have NOT refuted the truthful and correct use in context of his statements.
