Thanks for the article, I think there might be a typo in the scripture reference for number 5. Did you mean 1 Corinthians 10:13 in stead of 10:19?

Great article! Wish we didn’t have to scroll down and see Ellen Degenerate in the advertisement. Can you turn AdChoices off? They seem quite contrary to your blog’s purposes.

I have allowed my faith to. Fade and am under spiritual attack to the point of looking up ways to belittle all that is biblical and no longer even understand the Trinity. I believe the church is in it for money .I am sick at heart and I am disalousend. Please help me straighten out pray for me. Thank you

Jack Wellman February 4, 2018 at 3:40 pm

Hello M. Shook. Prayers for you, even as I write this, but not all churches are in it for the money. I am a pastor but work without a salary. Our church gives more than we take in to prisoners, a nursing home ministry and outreach to the homeless…so you may have had a bad church expereince, but don’t judge all churches being in it for the money…so, please call your pastor and tell him and ask your church to pray for you as we are commanded to do (James 5:14) as we need one another (Heb 10:24-25) and seek to do what Jesus commands us to do (Matt 25:34-39) as we do it to Him (Matt 25:40) or we do nothing for Him (Matt 25:41- and that’s not good (Matt 7:21-23). If you are really serious about seeking to be straightened out, humble yourself, seek godly counsel, and have the body of Christ, the church, pray for you as Jesus said the gates of hell will not stop the church’s existence.
