Daryl,
No matter how learned we become, or how pious we view our lives, it all comes down to Jesus and the Cross. We don’t lead people to doctrine, we lead them to the Savior. Thank you for sharing this. God bless you.
Yours in Christ,
Robert

This article was a blessing to read Daryl. I really enjoyed the quote, “Before we can begin to see the cross as something done for us, we have to see it as something done by us,” by John R.W. Stott. It is so true. Our sin put Christ on the cross. We are all murderers when it comes to Christ. His precious blood washes us clean. What an amazing picture that paints. God bless!

In His Name Always,
Derek

The cross is foolishness to those who are perishing but for us…it is the satisfaction of God’s wrath place on our Savior. The gospel is not the gospel without it. Outstanding. Today I see people wearing them, which is fine, but today we could see this symbol as the electric chair although it was far, far more cruel and painful than any other single form of a death penalty. Thanks for such a reminder that no one comes to the Father except by Jesus and Him crucified.
