Another need that is great in churches is in the making of CD copies for the sermons for the week. I wanted to mention this one because it is often overlooked.

I think the best way to get to know people and get more involved in church is to become the unofficial greeter. It is much easier than it sounds to start conversations with those coming in. Besides, the more often you say “hi,” the better you will get at holding conversations with people. Why, because you will start to get to know them.

Have your members wear name badges and this way we can find out who are our visitors otherwise you have to guess and sometimes you insult people when they have been members for years. Just wear you name badge and visit your visitors.

I have really been blessed with the article. I pray that God helps me to not only teach this to the congregation but also to be a blessing to the body of Christ.

Thank you for the list. They have given me some great ideas and a few I can relate to.
