Jesus is the ONLY one or item that the exact time of his appearance was recorded in the bible.Note that in the time give to Daniel concerning the appearance of the Messia was 483 years from the date of the return of Jews to Canaan Land. Jesus said I go to Jerusalem as my time is now.

Jesus was not married. Many people claim He was, but He stated in John 8:23, “Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world.” He also says in Luke 20:34, “The children of this world, marry and are given in marriage…”

This is very offensive

Hello Amy. Why was Ngoni’s comment offensive to you? It was exactly on the mark. What was wrong with it?

Was Jesus really born in a manger?

Jack Wellman November 18, 2016 at 10:31 am

That’s what the Bible says Hayley. Do you not believe the Bible? Luke 2:7 says “And she gave birth to her firstborn son and wrapped him in swaddling cloths and laid him in a manger, because there was no place for them in the inn.” A manager is a feeding trough for animals and so it’s appropriate since they couldn’t find a room, and besides, we are fed on the Bread of Life, Who is Jesus Christ. Do you not believe God’s Word?

Jesus did not have any biological brothers or sisters. Mary is and was a perpetual virgin. The term brother or sister used in the Bible in Jesus’ case was used as a term of endearment as it is often used among Christian “brothers and sisters” today.

Jack Wellman July 19, 2017 at 8:44 am

Hello Kevin. James is called “the brother of Jesus” in the New Testament so Mary was not a virgin, only when Jesus was born was she. The Bible is crystal clear that Jesus not only had brothers but sisters too. Read:

Matthew 1:24-25 “Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife:
And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS.” Then, these scriptures not only tell us that Jesus had brothers and sisters, but it actually lists some of them by name.

(Matthew 13:55-56)
“Is not this the carpenter’s son? is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon,
and Judas? And his sisters, are they not all with us? Whence then hath this man all these things?”

(Mark 6:3-4)
“Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James, and Joses, and of Juda, and Simon? and are not his sisters here with us? And they were offended at him. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, but in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house.”

(Galatians 1:19)
“But other of the apostles saw I none, save James the Lord’s brother.”

Clearly, Jesus had siblings and that establishes the fact that Mary was not a perpetual virgin and the Bible doesn’t even teach that anyway sir.

Jack, brother, she was asking a question. Maybe not everyone is a scholar of the Bible like you. Take opportunities like this to help someone learn and to show the love of Christ. To have all of the wisdom and no love, the wisdom is of no affect.

Jack Wellman July 26, 2017 at 10:50 am

Hello Robert. I don’t even know which comment you are referring to. Can you be more specific before you criticize me? I only refer people to the Bible. I am nothing. His Word is everything. So we are not to do as Paul commands when we find error? (2 Tim 3:16-17).

man my house is 2 story but somtimes i wish i was a smaller cause noises in it are scary sometimes what if its haunted or jesus is walking around in it that would be crazy

Jack Wellman October 29, 2017 at 1:05 pm

I don’t know if your house is haunted or not but they are not ghosts but demons who are “familiar spirits” meaning they are familiar with those who’s body’s they imitate. For example, if someone thinks they’ve seen grandma’s ghost, t’s not grandma’s ghost we might see but a demon who was familiar with your grandma and knows what she looks like and sounds like.
