Superb job here Josh. Every time I read about a Bible verse relating to marriage, I think of the bride of Christ, the church and the Groom, Jesus Christ. Well done.

We are grateful for the writer for these specific Scriptures of the Word of God about marriage…

Some of these verses are my most favorite verses in the Bible.. Specially 1 Corinthians 13; the LOVE passage…

I consider myself to be blessed to know the LORD personally and to enter into a marriage knowing that we are in a three cord marriage..

I’ve lied to my wife and cheated on her once. I need help. I want my marriage to work so bad but I made a terrible mistake. My wife is amazing godly and an incredible person. Can someone leave me some bible verses to read that might help me or my marriage. I don’t want to lose her. Any advice I’m sure would be helpfull.

Hello Jeremy. Thank you for your honesty. My friend, we have many, many articles full of Bible verses that can help and we have an article called How to Love Your Wife: 7 Helpful Tips at: http://www.whatchristianswanttoknow.com/how-to-love-your-wife-7-helpful-tips/

Please read that and also confess to her this and get this off your chest because when we confess our sins, God will forgive us (1 John 1:9) and then go to your wife in open honesty and beg her forgiveness. That alone will help your marriage and will show her you are sorry, have repented, confessed, and turn to God for forgiveness.

Colossians 3:19 is great, so is Ephesians 5:25-28, 1 Peter 3:7 and make sure and read the article on how to love your wife on the link in this comment Jeremy.

My friend wrote a book about his struggle with this problem. Failure and How I Achieved It. M. Courtney. It would be an appropriate read for you. Do not delay. Best to you. There is also a video clip of an interview with him and his wife if you google his name.

Some good verses here, but I do have to wonder why Ruth 1:16-17 is under “Wedding Bible Verses About Marriage Relationships” when what Ruth is saying in that passage is directed toward her mother-in-law, Naomi, after they both have been widowed.

My now ex husband and I had Ecclesiastes chapter 4, verses 9 thru 12, emphasis on verse 12b. Unfortunately, my physical challenges after a stroke were too hard for him to remember that. They are still good verses though!

Jose November 5, 2017 at 6:58 am

Very encourage. I will keep on reading this studies.
