God Bless you Jack Wellman ~ My husband and I live in Galveston, Texas we are always working to feed the homeless and be a light into our community. This island has so many needs but, one by one God leads us to what we can do each day!
Thank you for these words, it’s nice to hear them from others.
God Bless you ~ Sonny Anderson

Thank you Mr. Anderson. but as we both know, all glory goes to God for we have nothing that wasn’t given to us by God (1 Cor 4:7).

Ms. Roberta, I have children’s items to donate. Hopefully will put a smile on their faces. I’m in the Clearwater area and can drop them off to you. I hope you’re notified of this follow up comment. I will be looking for your reply. God Bless you and the beginning of your Homeless Outreach Ministry!!

Repost in 2 sections (did not appear)… Trust me, a homeless, sick, often hungry etc. God-loving (nice + decent) person: No helping gesture is ever too small to lift me/us up,
far greater than what the person did or offered/gave.
I only have a handful of examples (ingrained deep in my heart),
but without those very special (loving) people to think about (often)
I might have given up a long time ago.
Homeless people must stay invisible to be safe (often after vigourously seeking out help + only being rejected or hurt (by corrupt or evil government workers and others)…
Example: 1 very special woman (Cindy) who works the night shift at Wawa, Egg Harbor Township, NJ – many months ago, did something so nice,
(from her kind heart)
I will never forget her.
After I asked her which was the cheapest sandwich since I didnt have enough for my usual tuna hero (so unbelievably good),
she told me it would be a cheese melt on a bagel.
And while I was paying for it, she took out of her own wallet ($2 or $3- sorry I can’t remember exact amount) and very nicely handed it to me saying keep this just in case you need it for something later.
As always I thanked her + refused the $, saying I would be ok.
But she was so caring, non- judgmental etc. she convinced me to take it- And I’ve thought of her + that night so many times because it always makes me feel so good + hopeful = Concrete proof of God’s love, here on earth 🙂
Pretty much, on a typical day,
NOBODY cares about me or my well-being, BUT SHE DID! (Co tinued, next post(…
