Did you find this article because you have questions?  Are you searching for answers that you cannot find within yourself?  Well, you are heading in the right direction!  Jesus Christ intentionally left heaven to live among us and not only teach us, but also to experience everything that we do.  You may have said, “but Jesus doesn’t understand my situation” or “how can Jesus understand my pain?”  Well, He understands more than you’ll ever know.  He understood fear.  “Abba, Father, all things are possible for You.  Remove this cup (reference to His approaching crucifixion/wrath of God upon Him) from me.” (Mark 14:36)  He understood failures from friends.  While He prayed in the Garden of Gethsemane, He only asked for His friends to stay awake and keep watch for Him.  Three times Jesus approached them and woke them up. (Mark 14:32-42)  Jesus experienced rejection by one of His dearest friends, Peter. (Mark 14:66-72)  Jesus experienced hatred from people: “if the world hates you, know that it has hated Me before it hated you.” (John 15:18)  Jesus experienced temptation at its highest after He fasted in the wilderness for 40 days and nights. (Matthew 4:1-11)  Jesus experienced sadness: “Jesus wept.” (John 11:35)  You see, Jesus understands your situation because He experienced all of the things that you do.  He knew fear, anxiety, rejection, sadness, the feelings of temptation and disappointment.  What a better Savior to have then one who really understands you!

Here are 15 Bible verses for you to read as you are seeking the One, true God!

Jesus understands your situation because He experienced all of the things that you do. He knew fear, anxiety, rejection, sadness, the feelings of temptation and disappointment. What a better Savior to have then one who really understands you!

Jesus understands your situation because He experienced all of the things that you do. He knew fear, anxiety, rejection, sadness, the feelings of temptation and disappointment. What a better Savior to have then one who really understands you!

God’s Promises To You

Jeremiah 29:13  “You will seek Me and find Me, when you seek Me with all your heart.”

God has promised that you will find Him, if you seek Him whole-heartedly.

Amos 5:4  “For thus says the Lord to the house of Israel: Seek Me and live!”

Your place in Heaven is awaiting you.  If you seek God you will live eternal in Heaven!

2 Chronicles 7:14  “If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

If you seek God, He will forgive you of all of your sins.

Jesus Promises To You

John 14:23 – “Jesus answered him, ‘If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and We will come to him and make our home with him.’”

When you obey the words of Christ, He has promised God’s love for you and a home with Them!

Matthew 10:32 – “So everyone who acknowledges me before men, I also will acknowledge before my Father who is in Heaven.”

When you show allegiance to Christ before men, Christ will personally tell God that you are His brother and friend when you pass away from this earth.  Your place in Heaven awaits you.

Chronic Condition

Romans 3:23 – “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”

As a seeker you must understand that there is absolutely nothing you can do to earn your way into heaven because of your chronic state of sin.  You have sinned and even your best deeds are rubbish and filthy rags without Jesus as your Savior.  Only through repentance and believing that Christ died for your sins can you be holy in the eyes of God.

So What About Jesus?

Ephesians 2:14 – “For He, Himself is our peace, who has made us both one and has broken down in His flesh the dividing wall of hostility.”

You will find a peace that you have never known before when you decide to commit your life to Christ.  Even in the worst days of your life you will still experience Jesus’ peace on you because your perspective will not be so much on the “now” but on “eternal”.

1 Peter 2:24 – “He, Himself bore our sins in His body on the tree (the cross), that we might die to sin and live to righteousness.  By His wounds you have been healed.”

Eternity is but two paths.  One leads to death in hell and the other leads to life in Heaven.  Accept Christ today and your wounds that lead to eternal death will be healed.  You will have life everlasting in Heaven!

Ephesians 1:7 – “In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses (sins), according to the riches of His grace.”

When you accept Christ, His blood redeems you and atones for all of your iniquities (sins).  You can be assured that your sins will be forgiven as long as you repent of them.

2 Corinthians 5:17 – “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.”

When you decide to follow Christ, He makes you into a brand new being.  No longer will you be a slave to sin, but a slave to righteousness.

Other Verses

1 Timothy 2:5 – “For there is one God, and One mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.”

I have no doubt that you are reading this for a reason.  There is only one God and He has drawn you to this site to show you truth and a way to life everlasting.  Choose God and choose life!

1 Corinthians 3:11 – “For no one can lay a foundation other than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.”

“On Christ, the solid Rock I stand.  All other ground is sinking sand.  All other ground is sinking sand.” (My Hope Is Built On Nothing Less, Edward Mote)

Romans 5:8 – “But God shows His love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

Even right now, if you have still not accepted Christ, God has extended you love beyond measure by sending Jesus in advance to take your sin upon Himself on the cross.  This is love in the highest degree!  That is how much God loves you!  You and I didn’t deserve this amazing, gracious gift and yet God gave us it free of charge, no questions asked!

Titus 3:5 – “He saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit.”

You can do nothing to save yourself.  You are saved because of Jesus’ mercy on you as He died for your sins on the cross.  When you accept Jesus, you will attain a regenerate heart, meaning your heart will change from following fleshly desires to following spiritual desires, the desires of God for you.  Also, you will receive the Holy Spirit upon you and He will be your voice of reason that spurs you on towards righteousness.

Acts 16:31 – “And they said, ‘Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.’”

This is the only way to life everlasting in heaven.  Put your faith in Jesus today and you will be saved!

Conclusion

I thank God for you that you are searching for Him today!  I hope and pray that you give your life to Christ today and experience life everlasting in Heaven!  You are not guaranteed tomorrow, so please wait no longer!  Once your life is over, there are no second chances.  For those that have already chosen to follow Christ, may God bless you as you continue to live a life worthy of the calling!
