What Does the Bible Teach About the Antichrist?

by Jack Wellman on June 6, 2011 · Print Print · Email Email

The book of Revelation is an enigma to most people.  Many have heard about the antichrist.  Who is the antichrist?  Does the Bible describe the antichrist?  Does the Bible tell us who the antichrist is?  Does the Bible teach where the antichrist will come from?  How can we know who the antichrist is when they come?  What will the antichrist be like so we can realize who it is?

Two Types of Antichrists

Anti means opposed to or someone who is against whatever the prefix is attached.  Anti can also mean in place of as we will find in the book of Revelation.  Thus, to be antichrist means to be opposed to Christ or to place oneself in His place.  The Bible actually describes two different antichrists.  In fact, antichrists are here today.  We don’t have to look toward the future for the arrival of the antichrist because there are in the world today.  But the antichrist is not the same as the antichrist.

The apostle John talks about the antichrist but he differentiates the difference between the two antichrists that exist.  One is the antichrist with the small “a”.   Then, there is the Antichrist.  That is the one that is capitalized.  One is a proper noun meaning it is a specific person.  The non-capitalized antichrist speaks of several who are antichrists.

A Definition of an Antichrist

The small “a” antichrist is only recorded in the Bible three times.  The antichrist is anyone who denies that Jesus came in the flesh or that He was both man and God.  By denying this, they also deny the Father and the Son, as stated by the apostle John in I John 2:22, “Who is the liar? It is whoever denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a person is the antichrist—denying the Father and the Son.”  As John says in I John 4:3, they were already living in his day as he testified, “but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world.”  Anyone who denies that Jesus is from God and did not come in the flesh is saying God is a liar (John 1:14).   John says further, “I say this because many deceivers, who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh, have gone out into the world. Any such person is the deceiver and the antichrist“(II John 1:7).

The Antichrist

The apostle Paul speaks of a specific person as the Antichrist, although not using the name specifically, it is nonetheless the same thing he wrote about in II Thessalonians verses 3 and 8, “Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will overthrow with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the splendor of his coming.”

Revelation chapter 13 describes a deceiving imitation of the Trinity that includes Satan, the False Prophet, and the antichrist.  The dragon is what is often referred to as Satan throughout the Bible and is clearly identified as Satan (Rev. 12:9).  The beast (who is the Antichrist) and the false prophet who comes next (Rev. 13:11) will be given power by Satan and they will rule the world for 42 months during the time of what is called the Great Tribulation (Rev. 13:5-7).  They will rule over the earth and place themselves in the place of God and demand to be worshipped (Rev.13:4).  The beast of Revelation 13:11 is the false prophet and the third person of the evil trinity that mimics the Holy Trinity of God, performing signs and wonders that will deceive the world (Rev. 13:13-14).

Safely Delivered From the Antichrist

No one that is saved today and has been born-again has to worry about the antichrist who lives in the world today or the Antichrist that is to come.  God will pour out His wrath upon the unsaved world in the Great Tribulation but He has not appointed those who are His to wrath (I Thess. 5:9).  Just after Jesus raptures His church out of the world, the world will see such a time that it has never seen before (Matt 24:21).  Daniel 12:1 explains that this will be the worst time that has ever been experienced for humans on earth “At that time Michael, the great prince who protects your people, will arise. There will be a time of distress such as has not happened from the beginning of nations until then. But at that time your people–everyone whose name is found written in the book will be delivered.”

If you are not saved, then you may have to go through the Great Tribulation and it will be, as Daniel wrote and as Jesus said, it will be the worst time in human history since there were nations that existed.  I would hope that today, if you are not a Christian, you could be born-again this very moment.  When a person believes in Jesus Christ and places their life in Him and trusts in the atoning work of the cross, they are safe from the wrath of God and will be found worthy to escape the wrath of God in the Great Tribulation.  This free gift of faith came at great cost to Jesus Christ but His blood has paved the way for anyone who wants to be saved to be sparred from eternal judgment and to spend eternity with God in heaven.

Decide today and you will never have such a worry again about your future for you will be placed under His protection.  Then you can warn others of the coming Great Tribulation and tell them of a way to escape the wrath of God and avoid having to worry about the Antichrist.  Then find a Bible-believing church where the cross of Christ is preached and the Bible is taught and join a Sunday school class where you can begin to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

It is helpful that you are talking about the end time. Hope many people have doubt about The Antichrist.

Thank you so much for your encouragement. Truly, we need to warn others and tell them the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ and they have no need to worry about any Antichrist at all.

You are correct that it is vital at this time in history to spread the good news of the gospels. But on your other points I have to differ. The perpetuation of the myth of the “rapture” must be stopped. The theory of rapture is completely unbiblical and is a most dangerous belief. The rapture nonsense had it’s origin in Catholicism dating around the beginning of the 19th century and is just another fable that Satan uses to deceive the human race.

It is also biblically supported that the antichrist (Antichrist) has been with us from almost the time of Christ. Revelation tells us the identity of the beast, the RCC (the papacy), the mother of whores and the beast system of Rome. The 42 months is 1,260 years in bible-speak. During those 1,260 years the Church exterminated hundreds of millions of martyrs for their choice to follow God’s word through scripture instead of the doctrine of men. The inquisition(s) was the great tribulation which finally ended with General Berthier exiling the Pope in 1798. The beast that received a wound to the head and yet lived. The beast was revived and continues to deceive the world. Rev13:11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns (political and religious) like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. 12 And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him… No other entity in history matches the characteristics of antichrist except the RCC. This is the mystery woman of Revelation we are warned about and is located in the city that sits on seven hills.

Thank you Penny. I urge you to read what we have written about the rapture and in particular the conclusion as to whether there is a rapture or there isn’t.

Hello jack, recently i compared few passages from the four gospels of the bible which really caused a great turmoil in me to the level of questioning the infalliability of the word of god, from the gospel of matthew we read that after jesus was crucified the women came to visit the tomb after which a great earthquake occured which caused the large stone to roll over and an angel of god sat upon it. Whereas in mark we read that the tomb was opened and an angel was standing inside the tomb at the right side of where jesus was laid, in luke we read that the tomb was opened and TWO angels were standing one at the side of head and the other at the feet of where christ was laid, in john the women after finding that the tomb was opened rushed to the apostles and after which peter and john came and beleived only after that two angels encounter mary magdalin. So whats going on here?

Jack April 8, 2012 at 2:18 pm

Hello Henry. Thank you for your visit here and our question. There is a simple explanation. If there was an accident on the street corner and you had four witnesses, each one would give a different slant about what they saw. They all saw the same thing but each focused on different aspects of it. To question the infallibility of the Bible, the Word of God, over this is to discount that veracity of each of these men who were eyewitnesses to the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

There is no discrepancy at all. An angel of the Lord moved the stone and was sitting upon it outside (Matthew 28:2). The two men (Luke 24:4) were angels (John 20:12). Mark 16:5 presents the only potential issue and it isn’t the only one at all. If there were two angels in the tomb, then there was at least one. This one was on the right. Therefore, we see that there was one angel outside and two on the inside of the tomb.

More important is the fact that Jesus was resurrected and there were hundreds of eyewitnesses at 1 Cor 15:3-8 “For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Cephas,[Peter] and then to the Twelve. After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers and sisters at the same time, most of whom are still living, though some have fallen asleep. Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles, and last of all he appeared to me also, as to one abnormally born.”

To question the entire Bible based upon a perceived discrepancy is to throw out all the evidence that well over 500 eye witnesses saw Jesus after He was raised. If there were not witnesses to His being raised after thousands saw Him killed, then I would doubt the Bible too. I hope this answered your question Henry. Thank you sir.

What about the earthquake? I may be mistaken, but I am under the impression that these stories were passed around by word of mouth and written many years later. Is it not likely that the story was changed and exaggerated to make it more compelling? Also, would it not have made more sense for Jesus to simply show the Romans a basic miracle to avoid this fiasco. Why would Jesus allow anybody to not believe him if he was trying to preach such an important message? It just seems fishy that he was killed because he did not want to prove his authenticity to the Romans. Of course he did it so that he could die for our sins, but why would he avoid showing the Romans the path to God? As you have probably already noticed, I am not very well educated in the bible. I am just someone who is trying to understand such an important moment in history.

Thank you my friend. Some Roman soldiers and citizens did place their trust in Christ. The one Roman Centurion later and many other Roman citizens as you can read about in Acts and in the Book of Romans.

Jesus never forced Himself on anyone. Humans have freewill. They can chose to reject or believe on Christ. Many saw the miracles, many saw His healings and over 500 saw Jesus after He was resurrected. The Romans, just like anyone today, can freely come to Jesus Christ to place their trust in Him but many still refuse to do so…as they have freedom to choose. Unfortunately, many will not (Rev 20).

Notice how when the rapture is mentioned there is no scripture quoted? Jesus was beaten so bad he was not recognizable as a man according to Isaiah. He became a curse for your salvation, you can’t claim “being saved” and still be a part of the world, ie faster car, cutier wife, smarter kids, bigger house, smart phones, tv, internet get the pic. Repentance minute by minute is the only being saved there is. If you happen to be alive during the reign of the son of perdition, antichrist, you will have to live off the grid,or take the mark, which is an action you take with your hand, and a way of thinking, on your head. Study to prove yourself worthy, Peter? The doctrine of the rapture was started by Darby in the 1800′s a woman named Margaret McCarthy, had a vision while suffering a high fever, believe not every spirit, but test the spirits, Paul? Study the difference between your bible, men have crept in unawares, Timothy ? Bless the Lord on a regular basis, thank Him foe everything.

Hello Kathy. I do not believe that President Obama is the Anti-Christ, no. I understand from Scripture that, as the article stated and the Bible says, there are already MANY anti-Christ’s in the world (small “a”) but there will be ONE Anti-Christ (capital “A”) in the end times but for those who have placed their trust in Jesus Christ, they have nothing to fear at all for God has not appointed us unto wrath (1 Thess 5:9). Thank you Kathy for your question.

I think it’s very important for people to honor and glorify the Lord with good actions and words. God doesn’t expect us to be perfect, but try to be the best person you can by asking the Lord for guidance, protection, teachings, and more. Be the Child of Light because it is Light that removes Darkness. It is through good actions and words we destroy the darkness. It’s not easy being a good human, but look at what Christ has done for us on Earth and all and use that as inspiration or model. I wanted to say other religions also mention how God will destroy the Evil One.

Pastor Wellman,
Thank you for this concise, yet very informative article on antichrists and the Antichrist. I do not doubt the spirit of God in you and the work of the Holy Spirit using you for your gift of teaching. I do have an eschatology-based question for you: What do you know regarding the Jewish feasts and the year 2015? I know the bible says we will not the know the day or hour but that does not mean we will not know the season or month, right? I’m very intrigued to see what events occur around September/October of 2015, as America experienced great economical turmoil in 2001 and 2008. Let me know what you think/know. God bless you.
In His grip, Ray

Ray, please forgive me for responding so very late to your important comment. I don’t know much about the Jewish feast and year of 2015. I do understand that the Feast of Trumpets is a day that many speculate might be the day that Christ returns and even among the Jewish Orthodox, they believe that this is like the Last Great Day of the Feast of Tabernacles which is the culmination of the festivals of the Jewish people and the last feast day in their yearly calendar.

About the year 2015 sir, I don’t know that I have heard about that year. I do know that Jesus said that He will come at a day and hour when no man expects Him and that He could come at any given moment….today or tonight or tomorrow. Knowing prophecy, there is no prophecy that needs to be fulfilled before Christ returns meaning that we don’t have to wait for any other event to occur so it could be at any time.

Thank you Ray. Sorry I could not help you much.

Ray Rodriguez September 11, 2012 at 7:39 pm

Ray, the chapters you mention sound very much like this is the time that Israel was already judged for…but even if it is applying to the present day Israel, don’t you believe the church will be removed before this happens?

Ray Rodriguez September 11, 2012 at 9:46 pm

Jack,
2 Thessalonians 2:
3 Don’t be fooled by what they say. For that day will not come until there is a great rebellion against God and the man of lawlessness[b] is revealed—the one who brings destruction.[c] 4 He will exalt himself and defy everything that people call god and every object of worship. He will even sit in the temple of God, claiming that he himself is God.

5 Don’t you remember that I told you about all this when I was with you? 6 And you know what is holding him back, for he can be revealed only when his time comes. 7 For this lawlessness is already at work secretly, and it will remain secret until the one who is holding it back steps out of the way. 8 Then the man of lawlessness will be revealed, but the Lord Jesus will kill him with the breath of his mouth and destroy him by the splendor of his coming.

1 Thessalonians 5:
2 For you know quite well that the day of the Lord’s return will come unexpectedly, like a thief in the night. 3 When people are saying, “Everything is peaceful and secure,” then disaster will fall on them as suddenly as a pregnant woman’s labor pains begin. And there will be no escape.

4 But you aren’t in the dark about these things, dear brothers and sisters, and you won’t be surprised when the day of the Lord comes like a thief.[b] 5 For you are all children of the light and of the day; we don’t belong to darkness and night. 6 So be on your guard, not asleep like the others. Stay alert and be clearheaded. 7 Night is the time when people sleep and drinkers get drunk. 8 But let us who live in the light be clearheaded, protected by the armor of faith and love, and wearing as our helmet the confidence of our salvation.

-With this in mind (as you used 1 Thess. 5:9 & 2 Thess. 3 & 8) I know the bible is clear that born-again Christians will not suffer God’s wrath (Praise God!). I do believe we still have yet to see this great attack on Jerusalem by all nations, followed by the immediate second coming of Christ to save us, and to “seek to destroy all nations that come against Jerusalem.” (Zechariah 12:9) If we are aware of international current events, then we know that this sort of event is being staged and could happen easily during this generation.
I do not believe Jesus will come back at any given moment (this season), seeing that this “man of lawlessness (Antichrist)” also has yet to be revealed. Of course, Jesus CAN come back whenever He wants, but He will only according to His word. It’s clear that it will catch people of “darkness” (unbelievers) by total surprise but not us, “children of the light.” Therefore, “when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.” (Luke 21:28)

They say the Anti Christ will almost mimicke Jesus. And want to confuse people to thinking he is Christ. What is supposedly Christ’s number.7.

Look up Michael Jackson. # 7. He was the seventh child. Born in 1958. 19+58. Look up the music video Earth Song by Michael Jackson. Who does it look like he’s trying to mimicke? And what is the setting like?

Please look into this.

There are so many questions I have and I don’t know if you will have the answers to them all as I think I would have to be asking God himself to know most of them, but if i could have an email or something to ask more that would be great and just if you could answer the questions that would be great. The one question on my mind today that is killing me inside, God is all loving and forgiving yet he has planned for man to turn against him and to unleash his wrath on them. God knows everything that has will and is happening and is infinite meaning he has the power to stop any injustice, Why then does he use fear and death as means to end all of mankind? I do not wish for anyone to die and burn in hell I aim to love everyone and everything despite what they may or may not have done and am aiming to help people in my life, it truely kills me to hear that God has planned for some of us to burn in hell simply because they are not wise to the word of him, how can the creator of all, giver of life and everlasting God smite people from a place of envy and unforgivingness when he is the forgiver and only one with the power to. I understand I have to have faith in God and I do have love for him but this just hurts me, I understand the ramifications of going to hell and how unbearable and insufferable it will be but on the day of judgement if men and women are cast off into hell I have had thoughts of me taking their place for their chance of forgiveness.

Sebastian. I am so with you on the fact that I don’t want to see anyone go to hell but God never sends anyone there, they send themselves there by rejecting Jesus Christ (John 3:18). It DOES hurt. I just preached about this in church this morning and told the congregation, this is exactly the reason why we need to share the gospel with as many as possible. You are like Paul the apostle for he also said, he would rather go to hell than see his brothers or sisters go there. I love how you care the those so please join us in rescuing the perishing and saving as many as we can by telling them the bad news of God’s wrath so that they believe and accept the good news that is found in Jesus Christ who became sin for us so that we or they would not have to go there.

I’m confused about two issues in which I hope you can help me with. I know none of it matters in the big picture, but what am I to do when it comes to gaming and sharing digital software. Would it be unacceptable to play a game such as age of empires II and lets say smash bros? Because I used to play Gears of War and Call of Duty but realized that should probably be avoided. But what am I to think of when it comes to games that are not gruesome and completely violent in nature such as the first to games I mentioned? I like to play them with my brothers enjoy the competition (although I also did for GOW and COD, but it brought out anger each time I was killed, but these games are realistic and or gruesome). Smash bros and Age of Empires are very casual games, but they do have fighting and war embedded in them. What are your views on this.

Next, should I be allowed to let my little brother put one of my CD’s onto his iTunes? It is illegal, because they only want the person that owns it to be able to put it on their devices or even use it for that matter (unless you are listening to the CD with others). I am confused by things like this and what I should do. Thanks.

Reply

Jack Wellman November 13, 2012 at 2:07 pm

Mike, I can see that you don’t feel comfortable about these games & thus you have commented here. I believe the Holy Spirit must be convicting you of these games for the result of anger is not a good sign. Surely there are far more productive games and I would say that when we indulge in video games of violence, it has a direct impact on the brain. As they say, “garbage in, garbage out.” I would find other games like those of strategy. I love to play the video game, (although less than once every few weeks or so at a friends house to unwind) called “Risk” where we use strategy and there are also far more worthy games that engage the brain & are just as fun.

About the CD’s onto iTunes, if you own the CD and it is your brothers’ player, I don’t see the problem, however, downloading is considered stealing. If it feels wrong to you, then it is sin. Trust your conscience because the Holy Spirit can help us discern right from wrong.

Mike November 13, 2012 at 5:59 pm

Well, violence and sin is everywhere in this world. But there is a point in which we must say we are going to far in trying to stay away from such things. Age of Empires II is not gruesome and is a strategy game, just like your board game. They both are based on having armies and conquering. Smash bros is just a fun little game, where cartoon characters have to knock each other off the edge of the level to win (punching/kicking/sword/laser/ect…). So I think there is a point where we are going to far in avoidance.

I think I will play these games just fine (they don’t cause me to get angry like COD/GOW, and more importantly they are not gruesome and violent. These things are what has stopped me from playing COD/GOW). Take a look on youtube if you don’t know of the games. But yes, we cannot be consumed with such things playing them all the time obsessed.

I can live without these things and plan on living without them on the New Earth, but I don’t think we are supposed to cut everything out of our life altogether, because there is sin everywhere. We will willingly give up everything associated with sin on this earth when the time comes. But limits must be made. I think I have placed the limit in the correct place, no…

Reply

Mike November 13, 2012 at 6:06 pm

May I also add, I have no support for hate, war and sin. So I am not playing games with sin in them loving the aspect of sin, death and violence. I play for a little bit of entertainment here and there with my brothers; enjoying the strategic competition. It is like a sport in that way. What is your response to this post and the one right above?

Reply

Jack Wellman November 13, 2012 at 6:14 pm

Mike, it sounds like you have made up your own mind, and that’s fine. Each Christian should determine in their own mind and be guided in their own conscience if something is sin or not. I still feel that violence, death, and sin in any form; games, video games, movies, music, is not Christian, but each of us must determine this for themselves and as Paul says, ” Let each one be fully convinced in his own mind” (Rom 14:5). If you can imagine sharing the controller with Jesus and playing along with Him, then I believe it would be fine. The choice is ultimately with you Mike. Thanks my friend for your comment and question.

Mike November 13, 2012 at 8:13 pm

“If you can imagine…with Jesus…”.

I am not sure if I could picture doing things with “sin in them” with Jesus? I don’t think I can even picture watching the average movie/tv show with Him (Avengers, The Office, All sources of man made entertainment). I don’t think we are supposed to stay away from everything we can’t see ourselves doing with Jesus because we live in sin (we would end up living under a rock). Maybe we are supposed to set healthy limits and not become attached/consumed by the things of this world.

But if there is a show like South Park that is hilarious for sure, but filled with crude, vulgar and sacrilegious content way to much; then I know we should stay away from that. If there is a game that is a rush to play such as Gears of War II, but has gruesome killing all over the place. I think we should stay away from that. But I am unsure that we should avoid everything that we cannot see ourselves doing with Jesus “per-say”. I dunno.

“So I am not playing games with sin in them loving the aspect of sin, death and violence”. (type of game: making sure the game is not gruesome and complete violence)

Are the 4 horsemen different or is it the Antichrist shown in 4 different ways?

Reply

Jack Wellman November 13, 2012 at 2:10 pm

Hello Nate. These riders are not an actual person from what I understand and so, no, I don’t believe that the Antichrist is riding on these himself for these follow one another and he’d have to get off one horse and back onto another. I believe it is symbolism of what is going to occur in sequence but I surely don’t have nearly a complete understanding. The point is we should always be ready and if a person is saved, they have nothing to fear from these Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.

Interesting take John but I don’t believe in a wrathful God

Thank you Stephen for your comment. Are you referring to John in his comment near the middle sir? Although most people prefer not to believe in a wrathful God, what we believe doesn’t change reality. I may not believe in traffic but if I am standing in the highway I’ll get killed.

Romans 1:18 “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth.”

John 3:36 Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.

There are literally hundreds of Scriptures that support the wrath of God like in Romans 12:19–21 Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave itto the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.”

Thessalonians 1:7-9: The Lord Jesus will be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels in flaming fire, inflicting vengeance on those who do not know God and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. 9 They will suffer the punishment of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might.

Here’s the Good News, 2 Cor 5:21 says, “God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.” Place your trust in Christ and no wrath shall ever touch you Stephen…that is my prayer, my hope, and my desire for you.

I want you to know John I love God, trust God and know God now more than I ever have, I trust him completely, I don’t fear him because he is a God of love not wrath and anger. I have learned much over this last year, regard the true God and it’s awesome!!

Tch! I’m disappointed John, were you coming from a place of fear when you chose to deny my other comment?

Thank you so much for clearing this up Jack!! So many Christians are really confused on this matter and actually think that the Antichrist is in the world today!! Many have done a disservice to our President by tagging him as the Antichrist!!

Judy, you are far too kind than I deserve. I thank God for you and women of faith like you. I agree that, after hearing the presidents prayer tonight on CNN at the Connecticut service for the murdered children, it made me cry. God bless you friend and thank you.

Nothing you speak of has any real bibical basis. The antichrist has been revealed throughout history. everything the Catholics have done is in direct relation to what the beast of Rev. 13 does or has done. Before you try to lead good people astray please do more research and lesrn that the rapture is also not biblical .

Thank you Alex. Can you please specify for my education then what you mean by “everything the Catholics have done is in direct relation to what the beast of Rev. 13 does or has done.” Please feel free to add to my research sir. The “antichrist” and THE Antichrist (proper noun) are not the same thing, right? I would like to know more about this antichrist that “has been revealed throughout history” if possible for you Alex.

Thank you so much for this very important Bible lessen!! So many well meaning Christians have labeled a certain public figure as the Antichrist because the time we are living in feels so much like the end and I guess they needed a target!! Thanks for the enlightenment!!!

Thank you Jude Ellen for your gracious words. The most important thing is that a person has placed their trust in Christ. The rest is good to know but knowing Christ and Him crucified is above all things most important. May God richly bless you my friend.

While that is certainly one way to look at it, it also could have been some printer messing up along the way and now you are trying to create doctrine out of it. Sounds good though. (Pastor’s kid, skeptic, still loves God)

“GOD”is the creator of all things, except “EVIL” “GOD” is the light. There is no darkness, only true light. To be cut of from “GOD” is something to fear!! I know, it has happened to me, but by the Grace of “GOD” I`m here.

Hello,
a lot of people would think I don’t know who the Antichrist is
but I do truly know and all I had to do is follow three steps
to figure him out. My information was revealed to by God
I wanted to know I couldn’t sleep I had a knowlege of who it was but had to ask God because I wasn’t sure how to prove it and one night I asked and He said all I have to do is look on the computer of the seven emperors that ruled Rome he said their were seven so I did I found seven but didn’t know which one so I asked God how could I ever prove it he said just go to all the bronze statues of the seven emperors and you would recognize him so I did and It was who I thought it was. Putin and he has fulfilled every prophecy God told me he would through world events now he fulfilled the next one last month he has taken over the mideast peace process requested by Abbas from Obama. I have the ancient bronze statue who in ancient times was called Gauis julius Augustus Appolyon in the Greek and king of the north Daniel 11 if you would like me to send you proof you can request by email.

If you want to know who the Antichrist is he is in the book of ezekiel chapter 38. He is the Prince of Rosh, Gog, Magog Meshech, and Tubal Russia. He becomes strong with a small people
which is now the Eurasion Union and gathers out of the nations a military army from those who give their strength to the Beast who are the ten horns and eventually goes against Israel His name is Vladimir Putin. He is the only possible candidate that could fulfill this Prophecy according to Prophecy
and will continue til the very end. Many countries will be overthrown by him. “And they wondered after the beast” saying, Who is like the beast who can make war with him.

If we really understand what has been stated in 2 Timothy 3:1-5, then aren’t we ALL are antichrists of today???

Reply

Jack Wellman June 14, 2014 at 10:01 am

Thank you Mr. Cross for your comment. 2 Timothy 3:1-5 says “But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4 treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people” and so you are saying that all Christians are like this? I pastor a very small church that has only a handful of believers that are generous, loving, supportive, encouraging, and edifying prayer warriors. If it says “to have nothing to do with such people” would we not have to stay away from every church in the world and distance ourselves from ourselves too?

To continue the text, which we must do to remain in the proper context, it says in the remaining verses “They are the kind who worm their way into homes and gain control over gullible women, who are loaded down with sins and are swayed by all kinds of evil desires, 7 always learning but never able to come to a knowledge of the truth. 8 Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so also these teachers oppose the truth. They are men of depraved minds, who, as far as the faith is concerned, are rejected. 9 But they will not get very far because, as in the case of those men, their folly will be clear to everyone.” It says “They are the kind who worm their way into homes and gain control over gullible women, loaded with sins, swayed by all kinds of evil desires….” So you are saying we are all like this? Would that include you too then? I am sorry but I must disagree. We may have SOME of these tendencies but certainly not all of them. Do you really believe that Christians are like anti-Christs? Wow.
